yes you are correct that J8s here is a borderline defend by 3betting or folding. calling is bad here because his range is strong. the value of 3betting J8s comes alot from the fold equity, not from realisation of equity against a reg.

post flop you should bet bigger, what size would a hand like QQ+ bet? or a set? we can represent a strong hand here and get much more fold equity with a bigger bet.

river - if he has a hand like a draw its going to have alot of Ax inside, and if he has a hand like an overpair TT-QQ hes not folding on the A river, and if he has a hand like 9x hes probably not folding too, so u are betting to fold out double float like QK JK which is a very small portion of his range and hands like 77 88 which total add up i think is less than 10-15% of his range. i would check and give up this river.

Yes, during a session review I realize about the sizes

So, if u bet more on the flop and more on the turn there will be no Fold Equity on the river right? i mean, it would be a 10$ish pot with 4.xx-5$ behind

assuming that, u are never 3 barrel bluffing this hand im right? just 2 barrels and x/f any river if we dont improve?

yes there will be no fold equity on the river, and we are not bluffing the river so thats ok. we trade that for more fold equity on the turn.

yes not 3 barrel bluffing.

the bigger bet on the turn also means that if we hit hes almost always calling the river so we get value.
