damn you i just got hungry.
Yesterday I was hosting two WCOOP events, #07 and #08. I was awake till 9:30 this morning, so that means more than 24 hours which is a "record" for me. I've never been awake for this long, not even on New Year's eve or something like that ![]()
Tired atm, but I have another tourney to host tonight. Final table of #09 starts around 4-5am CET, so should be fun again. There's one Slovenian player still in so let's hope he makes it to the FT ![]()
I also made a plan for my WCOOP participation. I was thinking of playing (at least) these four events:
WCOOP-19: $109 NL Hold'em
WCOOP-22: $215 NL Hold'em [Sunday Warm-Up SE]
WCOOP-57: $215 FL Hold'em [6-Max]
WCOOP-60: $1,050 FL Hold'em [6-Max]
Maybe I'll add one or two more. I wanted to play Mixed Event too, but my indoor football season starts on that day so I can't make it
In Slovenian poker forums we are organizing some WCOOP satellites, so maybe I'll grab a ticket there too.
I was also looking at PCA 2015 tournament schedule. There's no Fixed Limit event this year and I'm pretty sure there was one in 2014. Well, technically there is one $1,100 Limit Hold’em "Crazy Pineapple". You get dealt three cards and you discard one on the flop. Sounds fun yes, but not sure if I'm going to hand out $1100 just "for fun"
:f_thumbsup:
All the best with your Tourney Hostings!
By the way why dont you advice Stars to increase the number of FL tourneys!
Hey Lukasteel, just wanted to send a PM to you and when i open your profile it shows
"Sorry, the requested page couldn't be found''
Are you Invisible here?! ♦
Being Team online is Tough huh?
Yeah... Haven't updated this blog for a while. I'm actually waiting to get my "official" PokerStars blog ![]()
October was so-so, I had 0,7BB/100 winrate, but not many hands in. Was hoping November to be a better month, but so far it doesn't look good really ♦
Will do a proper updated asap.
I see there was a forum revamp. I like it very much ![]()
Need to change my avatar tho
On Friday 12th I attended PokerStars Slovenian Adventure promo.
12 players won ticket via PokerStars freerolls to have an "adventure" with two of our TV celebrities and me.
First we went for Go-Karting which was really fun and very exciting. It was an indoor track with a bridge/tunnel for an extra adrenaline strike ♦ First we had a qualification runs and according to our best lap times, we got divided in two groups. First there was a race for places between 8-14 and then the best seven fought for a gold medal. My goal was to not finish last and I succeeded! I was 11th out of 14 racers ![]()

Then we went for a nice fancy dinner. It was all poker themed, from a table cloth to menus (Meat "Straight Flush" menu and Fish "Royal Flush" menu). Food was excellent, the wine was great (so they say). Can't say much more, I'll just leave some pictures here instead ![]()

And we finished our evening playing freeroll tournament with PokerStars prizes in a local casino. My goal was to not finish last and I succeeded! I was 2nd out of 15 players ![]()

All-in-all it was a great experience. I'm glad I met some of the players that I only see online and of course also our two TV celebrities. I hope in many more promos like that in the future!
You know that feeling when you decide to buy all Stellar Awards at the same time? ♦

I think I`m now just gonna ask this from you. Do yo know when PokerStars will publish next year VIP Club live events?
I don't think they will be announced quite yet. But the first one will be in Amsterdam on March 7.
Okay, thx for that.
Hopefully there will be an event closer Finland than Amsterdam is.

So I hit 1M Lifetime VPP points on PokerStars. Also got a fancy new badge ![]()
They say the first million is the hardest... We'll see about that
Ok, so let's do an update ![]()
I did a quite big report trip from Bahamas in my Slovene blog... I needed like a day to write the whole stuff, so I'll try to keep it short here.
As every Team Pro Online member, I "had to"
visit Bahamas for TO meetings, promos and other stuff. This was my first trip there, so I was obv very excited. My GF also went with me and I think it's safe to say that she had a great time too, despite being alone for one whole day + she had to hang out with poker players ![]()
I'm from Slovenia and we have a crappy flight connections here, so my trip started from Venice, Italy where I had a 2 hours flight to Amsterdam, where I had a 10 hours flight to Atlanta and then another 2h flight to Nassau, Bahamas. I arrived one day earlier than most of the guys (except Mati and Celeste), so I just explored our Paradise Island a bit.
I stayed in Comfort Suits hotel and not in Atlantis, but I figured out quite fast that that was a superior decision anyway. Location was awesome, prices were lower, we had a breakfast and free wi-fi and free access to Atlantis. No brainer really.

Hotel and breakfast by the pool.
So on the second day of my trip I had a Team Pro Online meeting, where I met all fellow team members. We stayed there from 9AM to around 7PM and later we also had a dinner in Bahamian Club. BTW, Barry Carter was also presenting interaction with poker media and he said we are awesome. Proof below.

My third day was the first "full free day" in Bahamas. We obv hit the pools in Atlantis and I was surprised how big the whole thing is. I loved "The Current" - you sit in the blue tube and just ride the river. I thought the whole ride will be only few minutes long, but no... It took 30 or 40 minutes to do one lap. Of course there were numerous rapids, waves and slides along the way and multiple entry points. Awesome.

From the left: My GF, me, Celeste, Felix, Matthias and Greg. And the tube-thingy.
I actually had a HU4ROLLZ the same day, but it was after the Atlantis waterpark closed, so it was all good!
:P Fun little promo, we were playing on iPads against random ppl, who could win money this way. One lady beat me three times in a row and she received $100. She also bought me a drink ![]()
After this we just went out for drinks and stuff.

PCA tournament room and HU4ROLLZ with Lex and Jorge.
Fourth day I spent whole time with my GF. She deserved a day of from poker players
We did a tour of Atlantis water park and I made tons of pictures. Won't be posting everything, but just enough to make you jealous a bit ... ![]()

Fifth day was pretty much the same as previous one, with one mistake... I had to work for half an hour that day! Can you imagine, half an hour meeting!? Jeeez, give me a break!
At this point I can also tell you how pricey whole Island is. It's really ridiculous... $4 for 0.5L bottle of water, +$40 for drink+entree, $8 for a beer. And all prices listed had no tax added (+7,5%) and 15% gratuity was automatically added to your bill. But can't complain really ![]()
I went to Ben & Jerrys every single evening. We don't have B&J here in Slovenia, so it was my first time there and Chocolate Chip Cookie Dough is my favourite ice cream now ![]()

Dinner and drinks!
Sixth day, my last day there but it was awesome! Me, my GF and Matthias went to Dolphins Encounter and it was... well awesome. We could pet him, we could give him a kiss, play with him, my GF danced with him, etc etc... Later that day Mati and I went to "Walking with Sharks" too
They give you a special mask and put you in aquarium full of sharks and then you... walk with them as name of the activity suggests. They are not hungry tho, feeding them with bunch of fish and stuff... Well at least I hope so, I mean... I did survive ![]()

Dolphins vs sharks.
Later that evening I went gambling a bit. First time gambling in 15 years or so. How much did I lose you ask? 4 dollars
I just put $2 in to make a picture of my GF playing and then $2 into video poker... again just for pictures ![]()

All in all, it was a great tip, it was loads of fun. All the guys from TO are nice and I had a great time hanging out with them.
But back to real life now. I already started grinding... Will be posting some stuff in the next days and weeks.
I intend to start streaming on Twitch regularly. Did few tries already in 2014. Besides... I bought a new mic and a new webcam and I'm ordering a new computer, so there's no backing out now ![]()
Will keep you posted, c ya!
Quick update.
I went into shopping spree for the last few days ♦
New year, new plans, new goals, new years resolutions and if I want to make them come true, I also need new a equipment ![]()
So I ordered myself a new mic (Rode NT-USB) and a new webcam (Logitech HD c920).

I did a bit of research on google, which set up would suit me the most and these two above seemed like the best buy. I actually searched what vloggers, let's players and streamers are using.
My plan is to live stream on Twitch.tv as much as I can in 2015 and I also want to make some other video content. And all these new things will also be used as a motivation for me really. I wanted to stream in January already, but I knew that my equipment (headphones, mic PC) is crap so I just postponed everything to a later date.
That later date is when I get a new PC, which I ordered yesterday
My current PC is in use since February 2002, so that's almost three years now, which is not bad I think. I did few mistakes the last time I order components. For example I bought to small of a case for my "big" graphic card. I didn't have enough SATA cables/connections. USB3 doesn't work, etc... I hope this time everything will be in order. I did ask few of my smarter friends and they confirmed my buy, so... If something goes wrong, they are to blame ![]()
The worst thing about getting new computer is OS and software installation, importing hands in HM. I also should do a backup. I just hope that my two HDDs work properly when I transfer them into new machine.
