Villain is active player. Should I 3bet and fold pre flop? I hate these situations and I don't know how to play correctly. If I 3bet pf and he shoves it's quite hard to fold JJ pre flop. On this exactly flop it is also very hard to throw away pocket jacks.

It's hard to read the format you are posting as we can't see the blinds and UTG is limping for t0?

Anyways I'm assuming this is early game and I also struggle with spots like this. For me it usually comes down to reads on the players.

Look at UTG for example. He is 6/4 on 300 hands and is probably limping something strong, say 99+ AQs+ AKo. We have only 48.6% equity vs that range. (It's possible his range is capped as he might raise some of those hands)
BTN ISO raising UTG is a bit trickier as we have a only small sample. Say 88+ ATs+ AJo+ KQs. We have 56.8% equity vs that range.

Against both ranges we have 34.3% equity.

Personally I would fold in this spot as I expect UTG to turn up a big hand quite often. Calling is risky because unless you hit a set you will not know where you are at postflop. A small 3-bet is an OK option (maybe to ~350). If you get re-shoved, you can fold as you are most likely up against QQ+ AK. If you get 1 caller, then you can c-bet any flop without an Ace. If an Ace hits, I would just check/fold from there.

My 2 cents, interested to see what the judges think.
