Thx Laz,

I had great time on vacation and I'm ready for going hard. I had my first session today which ended up 6.5 BI's in green. I should be getting some rakeback these days and then I'll take a shot @ NL5. I plan on 5 BI shot, but I'm still not sure how much tables will I play when taking shot. Any suggestions? Currently, I play 9 tables without any problems.

I had a big session today(money wise). It didn't start so great, dropped about 3 BI's but kept going becouse I don't want to be influenced by results. I was a bit annoyed bc tables were full of regs but I started to abuse them and later in the session some fishes joined. I wasn't aware that I was playing so good, I was just so focused and I finished my session 12 BI's in profit so now I have more than enough to take my shot at NL5. Plus, I still have to get my rakeback for this month

Here's my graph for last 3 day I returned from vacation :)

I guess it pays out to be gold member and to work hard

So today I had my first shot at NL4(soooo used to saying NL5 :f_biggrin: ). It didn't started great and I was playing a bit scared first 100 hands or so. But, I guess it was becouse I didn't wanted to go into marginal spots with unknowns. I only managed to find 5 tables which is OK for my shot at it but later when I fully jump to that limit I will maybe have some problems finding enough tables. After few orbits passed I spotted all the weaknesses of players and started earning money. I finished 3 BI's in profit(EV +5BI). I guess I can assume I wasn't running hot or something like that and that I shouldn't have major problems beating this limit :)

I had 2 rough days at NL4 losing more than 5 BI's, was making terrible calls against fishes but i think other spots were OK. I'll analyse all the big pots and will step down to rebuild my roll and confidence at NL2.

I was rebuilding last 3 days on NL2 and now I have enough to take another shot, hopefully successful. I'm studying hard these days, watching at least 1 video per day and constructing my ranges. I got to say that I love the Gold Bootcamp series.

I'm still on NL4, I'm satisfied that I haven't already dropped back to NL2 as last time. I have no clue how am I doing becouse I try not to look at results after the session. That's becouse I was affected by results too much. Either thinking I'm playing really good or just being angry that I lost in particular session. So, when I close my tables I immediatly close HM and lobby as I don't want to look at my cashier. It helps a lot and I look at my session more objective, not based on the results.

I also moved from NL2 to NL5 and I'm struggling there just like you are :f_biggrin:

Things are starting to get better and better. I managed to have few good winning sessions in a row. I think I can say I have established myself on the NL4. I want to maintain the momentum and improve further, that said I'm sure I'll soon be knocking on the NL10 doors. I'm still in pursuit for study group and poker buddies.

Hey Filip, may I suggest you take a look at this thread?

NLHE uNL Group

If that doesn't take your fancy perhaps you could post an idea for a group a little more to your taste in the Learning to Win forum?
I am sure you would get a positive response, these groups are very popular.

Something to consider.

Very best regards,

Mal.

It's time for update. This week I improved my game a lot but I'm not satisfied with volume and there are some hands where I could've acted better. But, the focus is on improvement and I have to be positive. Anyways, here's the graph.

Haven't updated for a while. This week has not been that great. Lost like 10 BI's at start and was 2 days without internet connection(stone age ), had some router problems. On the other side, I started grinding it back and the most positive thing is that we started the study group. So far it's really active and I like it. All the guys are quite ambitious and motivated :)

Last week was pretty bad in terms of volume and profit, but I've learned a lot. I've created my warm-up routine and will follow with from now on. I was very close to moving up last week but had hit the downswing. Also, I was two days without internet connection and these two things have made me mad and I started to play worse. Everything has to be trial and error so as was this week.

Hey filip, nice to see you got into a study group, use it well. :)

I like this idea of a warm-up routine, it took me a lot longer than you to realize it's importance. I now do a warm-up before all sessions. It seems to be working well to.
I often watch a coaching video to get the old brain cells moving, or look at some theory notes, have you a particular way of warming up for a session?

Mal.

Hey Mal,

for my warm up I try to review some hands from previous session and post the ones i'm not sure of in evaluation forum. I also watch a video and take notes. The last thing I like to do is mental warm up(either by Erik Stenqvist videos or some sort of meditation and mental warm up)

As my university starts next week that made me think I have to organise myself again. I decided not to play on Tuesdays and Fridays. Those will be poker study days only. I've also made decision to look at cashier twice a month(on 1st and 16th of every month). So, no peaking at cashier for 5 more days(2 done _biggrin: ). I leave you with royal flush that I got dealt today
