BB: 61.35 BB (VPIP: 33.76, PFR: 9.28, 3Bet Preflop: 1.82, Hands: 250)

SB posts SB 0.5 BB, BB posts BB 1 BB

Pre Flop: (pot: 1.5 BB) Hero has 7♥ 6♥

fold, fold, CO raises to 3 BB, Hero raises to 9 BB, fold, fold, CO calls 6 BB

Flop: (19.5 BB, 2 players) J♠ 6♣ J♦
CO checks, Hero checks

Turn: (19.5 BB, 2 players) 9♥
CO checks, Hero bets 4 BB, CO calls 4 BB

River: (27.5 BB, 2 players) 5♦
CO checks, Hero bets 2 BB, CO calls 2 BB

Spoiler

Hero shows 7♥ 6♥ (Two Pair, Jacks and Sixes) (Pre 32%, Flop 73%, Turn 82%)
CO mucks A♠ 7♠ (One Pair, Jacks) (Pre 68%, Flop 27%, Turn 18%)
Hero wins 29.93 BB

I would cbet flop if it wouldnt be paired because I would have 5 live outs, but here Imo I cant cbet flop and then check turn and call river, also no outs.

can I bet turn and river bigger to get calls from Ax and protect? river probably better check than so small bet? I generally fold vs raise, really super rarely see bluff riases in such spot, so if I dont expect to get raised often, is it ok to bet 2bb?

I would analyse this hand as we play vs a stdd reg NL100 zoom:

IF villain call PF with 88-99, AQ, KQs, AJs, ATs, QJs, KJs, AJo(50%).

Villain would continue vs cbet with 88-99 (12 combo), AJs(2combo), QJs(2combo), AJo(3combo), KJs(3combo), KQs(50% - 1combo). (almost all range which calls pre flop)

If villain would play with this range , he would not fold to cbet in this board.

My conlusion: check behind is the best option flop because I think villain would check turn with ATs,AQ, and bet 88-99, Jx and as a bluff some combo KQ. So, we can a check back flop and fold to any turn. Another advantage is: when villain check turn blank, we have a clear bet for value and protection.

Hey GingerKid,

Blinds don't look that aggressive, great hand to call PF and play IP imo.

Flop check is reasonable - should really be with the intention of at least calling a turn bet.

When villain checks twice he reps A-high pretty hard and imo you take the optimum line vs A-high. I imagine a lot of opponents will lead turn with stuff like 88 for protection (+ any legitimate value hands).

As for bigger sizings, maybe, just depends on the opponent.
