Hero (SB): 172.91 BB
BB: 100 BB (VPIP: 32.70, PFR: 25.41, 3Bet Preflop: 8.72, Hands: 3,204)

CO: 241.09 BB (VPIP: 42.30, PFR: 29.58, 3Bet Preflop: 13.55, Hands: 428)

Hero posts SB 0.5 BB, BB posts BB 1 BB

Pre Flop: (pot: 1.5 BB) Hero has 3♣ A♣

fold, fold, fold, fold, Hero raises to 3 BB, BB calls 2 BB

Flop: (6 BB, 2 players) K♣ 5♣ Q♠
Hero bets 4.27 BB, BB raises to 16 BB, Hero calls 11.73 BB

Turn: (38 BB, 2 players) 6♦
Hero checks, BB checks

River: (38 BB, 2 players) K♥
Hero checks, BB checks

Spoiler

Hero shows 3♣ A♣ (One Pair, Kings) (Pre 57%, Flop 76%, Turn 82%)
BB mucks 9♣ T♠ (One Pair, Kings) (Pre 43%, Flop 24%, Turn 18%)
Hero wins 36.1 BB

13% vs BU 3bet, fold 47% BB vs SB. fold flop 49%. raise flop 14%. raise flop bet turn 58%. My plan was to c/c turn and give up river. Would it be ok to check/shove turn exploitatively with JT, and non nut fd, because he cant call shove with draws, and he doesnt rep much?

Hey GingerKid,

I think even with our nfd, x/s turn is a pretty decent line vs someone with these stats. He only really reps KQ/55 but he can have plenty of turn semi-bluffs folding vs x/s.

Again, I don't see why do you bet flop. Your ranges are wide SB vs BB, you have decent showdown value vs his flopping range, which contains a lot of air that you make fold by betting. I'd x/c twice here. You'll see a lot of crap like what he showed here betting twice, then putting you on Kx and giving up (if he is aggro enough to 3 barrel, thats fine, you get more implied if you hit flush.)

If flop x-x, you can go for a delayed turn-river bet, to fold out other A hi, pocket pairs, or even Qx.

You don't miss any value from his Kx if you hit flush, because ppl will rarley put you to flushdraw.

Again because I want to have nut fd in both ranges. I check stronger nut fd which have most SD value, and cbet once with less like A5. It is flop cbet for thin value.

Why is this so important ? What if you have nutflush bvb only in your calling range if it has higher EV? Do you think anyone could exploit that?

My population read is that regs have fd mostly in cbet range. So when they cc flop or turn and flush comes on the next street, I will make huge bets with my flushes and bluffs will be flush blockers. The thing is that I will have many flush combos in my range which are pure nuts if villian doesnt have any flushes in range, so I can overbet next street to finish all in, and use many bluffs in such balanced range. So thats how I play as default to exploit this population tendency.
So since my strategy is to play super agro (often bluff heavy) once the flush completes and villian is cappt, then it becomes for villian much higher EV to check fd than to cbet them. If I would after some time notice that he calls me down very often with flushes (he adapted), then I wouldnt anymore agro (and bluff heavy) once flush comes, but would become more agro when he cbets and flush comes. So then he would adapt again, and after some time we would come to the equilibrium, that he cbets some % of fd and checks some %, and I would have to be balanced when flush comes.

This guy seems agro by just looking as basic stats, so vs him I would try to have fd in both ranges. Vs more passive opponent, I wouldnt care about it.

Yeah, this looks good in paper, but have you ever played vs a villain long enough for this to happen? Maybe @ NL1k when the same regs fighting each other, but @ lowstakes, I don't think this is important, when the player pool is huge.

I don't think it's worth it. x/calling NFD here and let villain stay in the hand with his (probably) wide range, and make mistakes with it probably makes more money. We could bluff later to fold out better hands, but flop check >>> bet in my opinion. I don't play such an aggro style like you, so maybe betting fits better for your playstyle, but as I noticed people can't really play well vs checks (bets too much or too little, and/or get confused on later streets).

Sure such adaptions are only in theory. Imo it helps a lot to understand such abstract and approximative theory even if we never apply it, because it helps to understand ranges, our and villians weaknesses.

As i said i play using population average stats which i extracted from database and play that way. On this board i would bet bet overbet if i dont improve and dont get raised, on low board i would cbet flop and cr turn and give up river, or cr on flop. I usually take agressive line with draws, and my style is such that red line is high and blue is around breakeven at least when i play vs nitty population.

Also why do you think that cc is max EV? Imo it is highly complex to compare EVs
