Another decent session today!
I was in for a lot of buy ins at one point, but turned it arround for a nice profit. i misplayed a few key spots at finaltbls but overall im satisfied with my game today!
I'm taking tommorow off from grinding and will be back sundag

Booked a loosing session today 
On the positive side i managed to up my tablecount to 28 tbls for the entire session! (goal is arround 32 when playing the micros).
Volume was decent with almost 90 games played.
Gonna have friends over for dinner tomorrow and ofc the Manchester United game tomorrow night so thats gonna be a day off. hopefully i'll be back tuesday

Apparently i forgot to update in my sessions during this week :/
Todays session was swingy... Started out with an early win in a 180 man turbo (.50$) and a second place in a 45 man (1.5$). From here on i basicly bricked 50 tours before making a decent comeback having a win and 2 seconds in my last 4 tables.
Combined with van Persie's late equalizer my day turned out great
I was contemplating a late session aswell but i'm to tired atm.

Got doomswitched for the first hour of play so cut my session short today (My mindset was off today so couldnt handle all the early bustouts)
It felt like a massive downswing but in the end i only lost 6$ today. I'm happy with my decision to quit when i did't feel like grinding, but on the other hand its kinda frustrating not to be able to put in a decent volume even when i've scheduled it :/

UPDATE
i passed 1500 games yesterday and i think its time for an update and a graph.
My motivation is bigger than its been for a long time and i'm enjoying the 30 tbl madness in every single session
I think my game is decent although im pretty sure my shoving range is too wide while my calling range is too tight. I'm not sure if this is a leak or an adjustment i've made to the games, but i'm gonna put some thoughts into it - especially when moving to 2.5$/3.5$ games.
In the beginning my plan was to move up every time i got 100 buy ins to a new level (atleast while in the micros) but i've adjustet it a bit: I will include 2.5$ and 3.5$ games when i hit 350$ (will move down if i hit 250$)

A Challenge within the challenge
On top of being super motivated i have a lot of time on my hands the next week!
Because of that my goal for the next 7 days (today through friday) will be to play 700 SNGs. If this works out i should definately have moved up during this grind.
I will post minor updates during the week, and i'll look forward to a 700 game update on saturday

Just completed my first session with 2.5$ and 3.5$ mixed in. Started out with an early win in a 2.5$ 180 man, and it basicly went downhill from there. managed to pick up some small cashes here and there to end the session in black

Todays session was great volume wise and mindset wise. unfortunately i ran into the inevitable downswing when moving up in stakes...
I hit my stoploss early and took a break before moving down to "familiar territory" mixing in just a few 2.5's. couldnt turn it arround thus dropping 100$ today :/
I'll move back up when bankroll hits 400.

Really didn't feel like updating after my last few session...
As you probably already figured out i haven't been able to turn things arround yet :/

Is it that you are sick of SnG's or sick of being on a downswing?
I think there is a big difference. I won't try to persuade you one way or the other (SnG or Cash), but I think it is important to know what your true motivation is to be considering a switch. Are you thinking of a temporary switch or permanent, and in either case what are your drivers and expectations?
If it is because you've had a few losing sessions and believe that your game is strong let me remind you what a wise person once posted:
As SNG grinders we (hopefully) learn to accept the variance in our games, but I think there’s more to it than accepting the variance. We need to embrace the variance, since the variance keeps the fish (and bad regs) coming back day after day. Without the variance the games would dry up and only contain nitty regulars – That’s why we all should learn to love the Variance instead of bitching about it

This "i have to take a break" phase is definately the result of my very bad run lately. But then again; i've played a lot of hands (124k) in this challenge and i dont think i've capitalised proberly from the effort i've put into it...
All the years i've played online poker i've jumped arround the various games - but i've always come back to SNGs. this might just be another effort to realise that SNGs are my main game. On the other hand - this might lead to me realising that can compete in something else than pushbot poker
I will think of this as a break from SNGs. I will try to put in 100k hands of 6max microstakes cashgames before newyear (starting at nl5). after 100k hands i will decide wether to jump back or to stick with it!
I will of course keep this blog running towards my goal of 2500$

my bb/100 took a dive today (to 8.31) but i'm still fairly confident in my game
