This is a blog to note my progress and keep some sort of accountability going for my ambitious goal of earning £1k in a month at the end of 6 months!
I will start off by introducing myself to you...
About Me
Name: Sol
Age: 22
Country: UK
Education: Degree educated
"Profession": Pharmacy
Poker background: Almost none. Deposited $10 in 888poker and managed to make it up to $50 from playing almost all $1 buy-ins at 6-handed SnG.
The Aim of this Blog
The boring bit is out of the way, you know me and I will soon know you so now you want to know where this seemingly pointless thread is taking you I suppose!
It is taking you first to a land where I lay out my "what", my "when", my "why" and then my "how" - I have a feeling the last step will come with a lot of improvisation...THAT is why you should read it! Needless to say the "what" may change as a result (mainly poker format) but I wish for the others to remain constant. I wish means that is how it will be!!
The HOW
I have said it twice already but here it is again:
From playing poker I want to earn £1,000 a month by playing 6-man SnG's, whilst holding down a full time job and other personal commitments.
The WHEN
I want to do this in a time frame of 6 months. This will start on Monday 17th November at 17:00 and the deadline will be Sunday 17th May 2015 at 18:00.
The why is to come, but for now...
What went well today:
-Had a great curry with my girlfriend (AND she paid)
-Started this blog
-Heard back from an interview I had (didn't get the job but got constructive feedback)
-Did do 10 squats, sit ups and press ups in the morning before work
What didn't go so well today:
-Not a huge amount of time dedicated to my plan
-Didn't go to the gym
Goals for tomorrow:
-Figure out how all this software and these poker trackers that seem really cool work and how I can start to use them
-Go to the gym after work
-Create a few spreadsheets to keep myself on track with nutrition, sleep and exercise
Strong track to start it all off..
