Wow very interesting evaluation, thanks for sharing it.
Btw what software did you use to analyse the various situations.

REMINDER FOR VIDEO
I am the something else guy, so two things im struggling with is 3betting ranges with 30bb eff. BU vs Blinds (us on the button) und BB vs SB (us on the big blind). so on the BU vs SB example we are in a non rebuy 27/50 level, or to 129 and BB 3bets to 388. with just calling i struggle post becasue SPR is quite low and with 4bet jamming i have problems with "building my range" -> having a balanced abount of bluffs and value shoves
other interesting thing would be stealing in late position with one of the blinds being very short ans to see how ranges change
so were like in the CO, average stack is 25bb and there is a smallstack in the SB with 5bb

Unfortunately the software I used is from a 'rival' site so I couldn't link you to it for obvious reasons.
Look out for my new coaching series coming up which will focus on the $3.50 rebuy 180's. In this I will look at deeper stacked turbo play and answer the questions that were asked about building ranges for deeper stacked BVB play.

this is a perfect example of what i was talking about, i am completely lost in such situations with hands like AT or 66. there are arguments for every action, folding/flatting/shoving.
would be nice to break that down, e.g. what we are flatting, shoving and why ![]()
in theory we should shove with a splitted range i guess and flatt a lot in between, but then we have this problem again with playing A high and a low SPR.
and since we are all just button smashers we can't play postflop.
in this hand btw. i guess flat > fold > shove
e: villain is IAmTheDisco
Hero (BTN): 2,924 (29.2 bb)
SB: 3,290 (32.9 bb)
BB: 2,880 (28.8 bb)
UTG+1: 3,175 (31.8 bb)
UTG+2: 3,036 (30.4 bb)
MP1: 2,790 (27.9 bb)
MP2: 1,465 (14.7 bb)
MP3: 3,045 (30.5 bb)
CO: 2,895 (29 bb)
Preflop: Hero is BTN with T♥ A♠
6 folds, Hero raises to 208, SB raises to 500, BB folds, Hero raises to 2,924 and is all-in, SB calls 2,424
Flop: (5,948) 4♦ 2♦ 6♣ (2 players, 1 is all-in)
Turn: (5,948) 3♣ (2 players, 1 is all-in)
River: (5,948) 6♥ (2 players, 1 is all-in)
Apologies to everyone, I am in my first few weeks at University at the moment and am just adjusting and getting used to my course before I commit to doing anything again. I can confirm that I do have a course upcoming which will focus on Rebuy tournaments and playing with deeper stacks.
I already have the course planned out I just need to sort out a fixed date to run the course. At the moment my timetable is a bit all over the place but once it settles down into a routine I will be starting my weekly sessions again.
Hello Tomsom!
I like your series and am eager to see more. Hope you can get back to making videos soon ![]()
I do though have few questions...
Firstly, regarding assigning edges. While using ICMIZER you talked about assigning negative edge in some situations. I'd like you to get a bit deeper into the theory behind that, since I myself never use negative edge and don't really understand why anyone should.
Next I'd like to know what you think about preflop sizing in later stages. To be more concrete, I mean using 2.5x as a default open size?
And since you're about to start series on 3+R I'd like to know your view on rebuying.
What do you think about using/rebuying single bullets instead of 2, like most of regs do?
I know at least one (Yes, that same grinder who uses 2.5xs) who uses single bullets and has amazing results.
Can anyone comment Jennifear push or fold chart, sharkscope shows she is 50 score looser...

The charts are good. It's based on nash ranges. Therefore there isn't much space for interpretation.
It wouldn't really matter who creates such a chart - the chart would always look very similar.

Hi Asaban,
are these Jennifear push/folding ranges just for 180s? Or is it possible to use them for 18 man SnGs aswell? If yes, rather for the first table or the second? First I have learned from a video is played for Chip EV, second for ICM.
Thanks a lot!

The Jennifer charts are for Chip EV only. In terms of 18 mans, I would only be using them for the first table. It would be impossible to create an ICM chart because ICM takes into account the stack sizes and payouts which will never be exactly the same.
The only real way to learn ICM push/fold ranges is just to run all your hands through a tool such as HRC and just get a feel for how wide / tight you should be in certain situations. Unfortunately theres no fast or easy way to get really good at this, you just have to keep running scenarios and seeing what the results are. The more you practise, the more accurate you will become. Hope this helps.
Thx tomsom,
That would have been my answer as well^^
I wouldn't use them in 18men tournaments and in all other tournaments you should only use them for chipEV spots - so not for late game decissions.

Asaban
Hello,
Sorry for asking here, but couldn`t find any topic about it . Do you do private coaching for 180 man`s ?
Thank you
Hi Tomsom87,
Just wanted to thank you. Made the silver status 2 days ago and are just in trance state with your videos. Really good job!
