Poker Stars $25.00 No Limit Hold'em - 5 players

BB: $25.00 - VPIP: 21, PFR: 16, 3B: 4, AF: 1,9, Hands: 535
Hero (UTG): $28.25
CO: $31.10 - VPIP: 46, PFR: 17, 3B: 4, AF: 4,0, Hands: 71
BTN: $44.61 - VPIP: 50, PFR: 30, 3B: 10, AF: 2,8, Hands: 76
SB: $25.00 - VPIP: 23, PFR: 20, 3B: 11, AF: 2,8, Hands: 178

Pre Flop: ($0.35) Hero is UTG with 4 :diamond: A :diamond:
Hero raises to $0.75, 1 fold, BTN calls $0.75, 2 folds

Flop: ($1.85) 3  9 :spade: 2 :diamond: (2 players)
Hero bets $0.97, BTN calls $0.97

its fish with wide range also have equity

Turn: ($3.79) T :club: (2 players)
Hero checks, BTN bets $3.62, Hero raises to $8.25, BTN calls $4.63

I think I will not folds underpair if again cbets twice and done, so I think better line is x/r, becuase a lot of fish there stabs his PPs etc, and I can have Feq on this imo.

River: ($20.29) K  (2 players)
Hero bets $18.28, BTN calls $18.28

I think he can still b/c 9x OTT, so I want fold this hands..
spew?

Looks like a spew.
This guy looks fishy, with flop cbet you don't really foldout any better hand, esp with that size. I would make it 1.4-1.5 or more with plan to barrel any J,Q,K,A, 5 and diamond.
Turn XR doesn't really accomplish anything, he will call such small raise 100% of betting range, and he bombs it so there shouldn't be many bluffs.

9x isn't big part of his turn betting range, so targeting exactly that part doesn't make any sense.

Hi

I dont agree, fish do not look much on sizings, but only on own hand. Also this board do not hit fish range often. I cant fold better Ax. But you do not need always fold better hands, also its good to fold worse hands, then get blufed..

How do you know it?

I dont targeting only 9x. Tell me please what do you think is big part of his range there?

Well, firstly I agree that it's not a big deal if we are getting better hands to fold or not. Most important is the EV of betting compared to the EV of checking. Sometimes the EV of betting can be higher even if we don't fold out better because a) we protect our equity while folding out villain's equity share and b) we protect ourself from being bluffed when we show passivity.

Having said that this looks like a considerable overplay vs a fishy opponent. We are generally looking at x/f OOP on the turn. Even flop cbet is not mandatory. Don't get me wrong, the line is very strong, the river is good for bluffing, and so a good opponent /should/ fold 9x. That's not necessarily this guy though.
