comments like this are egotistical, selfish and do you no good. that's like me asking why are you still playing 500nl instead of 10knl or why aren't you beating it for more? imo it's more important to focus on yourself. Actually if all of the medicore regs quit playing, it wouldn't be a good thing for you. I can explain why if you would like me to but you should think about it for yourself first.

although I mihgt make a little more money than online grinding
but it's so boring,. I like poker not only for money, I like it becasue i like to compete with good player too

let's say, If I give u money 1000usd every day but u have to play papper sissor stone for 8 hours a day
ya, u might be happy money wise- but u are not happy job-wise

:f_cool: Yeah I play live poker because of the people involved in it, not the money. It just happens that the mininum buy-in is $1k :f_cool:

Flop: ($250) 4 7 J (2 players)
Hero checks, UTG checks

Turn: ($250) 8 (2 players)
Hero bets $173.04, UTG calls $173.04

Final Board: 4 7 J 8 T
Hero showed A K and won $1,490.84 ($754.02 net)
UTG showed J A and lost (-$736.82 net)

this hand shows why u can't bluff regs in zoom500. becasue they are sick hand readers.
what u have to do is to hit your hand, and stack them

now I am starting a new strategy, hitting hands and raise .. then they level thinking, doing something strange.

which is still ok, my goal is every 100000vpp with 10000usd winning this year

Hi, good to get an update, bro.

So Nl500z is crazy tough, huh! It sounds like you are confident you can mix things up a little in order to remain a winner though. GL@thetables.

Impressive volume - not far off SNE pace...have you considered making a run at it?

hi,MasochisticDesire
having response in the blogging thread is the only motivation for me to update (otherwise, I can blog it privately), so I am glad to hear your feedback:)

500z is very tough now, even the worse regs knows what they are doing now. they try to copy the way winner play poker, even if they don't do it specifically well, but copy play from winner is never a big mistake.

i am not confident in my ability to be a winner 6 months after now, or 3 monts after now, why?
it's very easy, some regs were bigger and consistent winner, never have big variance or downswing, but they are consistently losing money now, so even 3 months can change everything, ,

my philosophy now is very easy, I try to eek out money from playing poker, and if one day poker can not make any money for me, I would try to learn stockmarket.

sne is really big stuff, the main concern is that stars is going to remove sne status in 2016..wtf~!

It is interesting to read your thoughts and approach to the game, keep blogging.

Of course, we all hear that 'poker is always evolving,' quite a lot - at your limits it seems that this is immediately recognizable over as small a time period as a few months but it is easy to forget down where I play (le micros :f_p:)

sne is really big stuff, the main concern is that stars is going to remove sne status in 2016..wtf~!

WTF! Is this confirmed? Where did you get this info?

This would suggest that the changes for 2016 are yet to be confirmed:

Roughly 400 players are forecast to reach SuperNova Elite status in 2014, and the changes in PokerStars’ policy is expected to save the site around $2,080,000 (400 x$5,200) each year. Nevertheless, there is likely to be further bad news on its way as the world’s most popular poker site has already indicated it intends to make bigger and even more drastic changes in the future, with Steve Day, the head of Ring Games and the VIP Club at PokerStars, commenting:

“While we are making only this one change this year, it follows a substantial review of the PokerStars VIP Club conducted earlier this year. We are considering more significant changes for implementation in 2016. Details will be available in the second half of next year.”

(Not that it is of any relevance to me :f_biggrin:)

Off-table worst case scenario thinking, bra! :f_o:

I think it unlikely; SNE perks might take a hit but ultimately it is a fantastic marketing tool to snare high volume players -
'you are special, you are part of an exclusive club' etc etc

Think positive ;)

hi, update
1.i will move to new house tommorrow, excited about it
2. i am not sure why i always lose at z200, every session , I check the player pool, z500 is full of regs and less fish, so I go to z200 every time, and losing like 200usd and then go to z500 and get it back, it happens like 7~8times this month

it doesn't make any sense for me that i can beat 500z but z200 :f_confused::f_confused:

I can only speculate from a micro fishes POV - can villains turn bet ever be a semi-bluff with a big draw given that the board is paired?
