Hey Vainis, pretty reasonable points about both hands. Thank you. I'm happy to learn new ways of thinking and improve in my game : )
I just added the stat you mention to my hud. Thanks again and wish you the best with your improvement. Nice challenge by the way and well done with your progress so far. Will keep in touch throughout our climbing of limits. :f_thumbsup:

I recommend copying your entire post after writing long texts, so you could paste it again in case anything goes wrong. This has saved me a lot of trouble in the past.

This is a clever and easy to use advice. Thank you Harrier : )

Summary of January 2015

First of all, I am really happy that I started a blog here. This helps me being true to myself and seeing clearly what I do and what I don't in order to improve my overall poker and life skills. Also, I thank everyone for the support and good advice. Having people who want to help is great, but the greater is when these people can have a benefit for their effort. That is to say I will keep it simple, improve step by step and keep an order of my actions. I believe that I achieved just around 30% to 40% of my goals for this month. Next month goals will be achieved at least 80% overall for sure! I have a good plan for that : )

Goals for February 2015

> Wake up 07:00 to 08:00
> Exercise 10 to 20 minutes
> Drink lots of water
> Read the book of Collin Moshman 'Sit n' Go Strategy".
> Make a summary of the book with important concepts when I finish reading it.
> Choose a new Poker Book:
(You can give me some recomendations for stt's) What do you think about the book "Theorem of Poker"?
> Whatch 4 Strategy videos
> Read 4 articles about exploiting opponents' HUD stats
> Make 2400 ICMtrainer hands
> Play 500 9men turbo stt's
*Bankroll: 80Buy-ins. Limit up > 75Buy-ins for next limit. Limit down > 50Buy-ins for current limit.
> Mark interesting/uncertain hands during play and analize them in Pokertracker
> Jogging / Work out / Other Actions which keep me fit and alive.
> Eye exercise 10-20 minutes
> Read the book of "Norbekov"
> Go to Sleep 22:30 to 23:30
Important Notes:

Play just and only 9men turbo stt's
Make a quick update in the blog every day and post an interesting hand if there is one (usually there should be)
Watch a video and read an article every Saturday. These are the only pokerwise tasks I have to accomplish on every Saturday. The rest of the day is up to my imagination : ) (If there is will and time for play, a session of lower limit game can be played)
Make a Weekly update every Saturday

AND YES:

> BE POSITIVE AND ENERGETIC
> EAT HEALTHY
> COMPLETE AT LEAST 80% OF THE GOALS FOR THIS MONTH !!!

Thank you : ) ) ) ) ) ) ) ) )

By any chance are you using firefox for your browser? I was having the same issue the past few months (never a problem in the years prior). I've switched to chrome recently and haven't had it happen since...

Nice January summary and looking forward to reading about your progress with February goals. Good Luck!

Yes, I use Firefox.

Sometimes, the copying and pasting wasn't even necessary because the post could be retrieved by going back or forward a few pages, but I like to be on the safe side. I also once managed to save a lengthy PM that would otherwise have been lost by this method.

Hey Ramble, in case the question refers to both of us, I use "opera" for a browser. My problems usually become from viruses (new pages are loading automatically and sometimes the page just blocks). Do you think the problem could be that I download files in local Disk C ?

Thanks Ramble, Good luck to you too! Continue more and more motivated : )

I used to be a computer-geek (I genuinely mean that in a positive way) back in the 90's... now I can barely spell CPU :f_wink: - so I am not the right one to ask about issues like that - sorry.

Comments:
1. I really wanted to have a good sleep, since I was so tired from Friday and Saturday : )
2. Played two sessions of around an hour. Multytabling 8 turbo stt's with 4 tables tile view and other 4 from behind. I am not satisfied with my plays. Maybe the little time to act affects my decisions and also moving from 4 to 8 tables is a little bit too much from controling my overall performance view. I am not so certain about the mistakes I made. Reviewed most of the hands, found too loose plays when having a stack from 16bb's to 10bb's. Tomorrow will review those hands again and work a little more with ICMtrainer : ) Also, tomorrow will go back to 4 tabling and focus more on exploiting opponents playing style. More time will be dedicated for play and Analysis.
3. Almost no time for reading the book of "Norbekov". It looks like I have to read from the book during day time : )

Here's a hand from today: What is the best play here... I wonder?

Hello, there have been 7,5 months ago that I gave up with poker. Here I am, playing the Turbo Stt's again on daily basis. I use the PokerStrategy.com Strategy articles as guidelines. My plan is to have weekly goals every week. Monthly goals if I achieve all weekly goals for one week. Half - year goals if I achieve all monthly goals for one month and so on. Every Sunday the blog will be updated. The goals will change as my mindset is "learning by doing."

18.10 - 25.10 :
> Build a Range for Early, Middle and Late Blind Level Play.
> Play 15 to 20 Sessions of 1-2 hours each.
> Mark hands when unsure of the play and analyze them with PokerStrategy Equilab and ICMTrainer.
> Read one article from the Psychologic section.
> Read one article from the Basics section.

Time management: playing > 6 hours per day maximum.
studying > 1.5 hours per day maximum.
analyzing hands > 1.5 hours per day maximum.

Starting Bankroll: $56
Games Played: 0
ROI: 0
Next Sunday I will add more information about things preventing me from improving and climbing the limits of SNG's. Have a nice week everyone.
