I intend to keep coming back to Macau whenever possible for the next half a year. And then I'll reevaluate the situation. Maybe join my friend in Taiwan. I asked him to consider joining me in Macau but he says that HU bumhunting is just as profitable ♦. I think the likelihood that I will still be able to complete SNE this year is 20% or less so I'll probably start playing at some fishy sites or at least try to get some higher RB at micro/ongame or play some nice juicy 888 games
Live Session
Finally, a super huge win. +70K HKD at 100/200. Managed to stack off 3 times with 3 full houses. I was playing a little on the spewy side. No longer 3-betting total crap like 95s vs MP opens. I was probably 3-betting slightly more than once per hour on average, which probably means that my overall 3b % was 5-6%, which is very high for live standards. I fucked up in a few spots cos I wasn't super focused but things still turned out well.
Boat 1
UTG Chinese reg-fish (Let's just call him CRF from now on) limps UTG, I raise to 3BB with 67o. I thought it was Blind vs Blind as I didn't see the UTG guy limp in front of me. BB folds, UTG calls.
Flop (1400): 9d 9h 6h - SB bets 1100, UTG raises to 2500, SB calls.
Turn (6400): Js - SB checks, UTG bets 3800, SB calls.
River (14000): 7d - SB checks, UTG bets 6000, SB raises to 19000, UTG calls.
UTG ends up mucking. He says that he has a hand which would beat a lone 6. At first I got a little confused but I completely forgot about T8s which got there.
Boat 2
Can't remember the exact HH for this hand but it was 3way and I was the PFR.
UTG (Chinese fish) limps 200, UTG3 calls, I raise in MP1 to 1100 with TT, MP2 calls, UTG calls.
Flop: Tc 7s 7s - Everyone checks
Turn: 6h - UTG checks, I bet 60% pot, MP2 folds, UTG raises 2.3X, I call
River: 9c - UTG jams, I call
I probably won like 30k+ from this hand
I burnt 400 USD here in the next hand with KQo
One guy opens to 600, 3 callers. SB (Japanese businessman) was about to 3bet but I did not notice him. I say 3500 so it was decided that I would be forced to make the raise. SB proceeds to call the 600 raise anyway and I was like "WTF?" CRF seems to be itching for a fight against me so he calls the 3b. SB makes a smallish 4bet to 7400 and he covers me (I had 80k). This was obviously the nuts so I fold.
Boat 3
Last hand of the session. I was already blinding out, everyone knew I was full of shit for the entire day. I declare, "I have a strong hand at the moment!"
UTG raises to 800 with QQ, MP2 calls (CRF), BB squeezes to 2500 (Jap businessman), both of us call.
Flop (7600): AQ5r - BB checks while looking slightly irritated, I checked in 1-2 seconds cos I felt like trapping and that the CRF wanted to mess around with me. CRF bets 4000, I call.
CRF tells me not to leave because he wants me to stay and play with him so that he can earn some money back. For this reason, I suspect that he is likelier to be a fish than a reg because a reg would probably prefer me to leave, given that I'm the most aggressive and probably the strongest player at the table.
Turn (15600): 7 - UTG checks, MP2 bets 6000, UTG calls.
River (27600): K - UTG checks, MP2 bets 10000, UTG jams to ~20000, MP2 calls and mucks
He was probably super on tilt after that since I pretty much took 70k from him. I think he had something like AK or AQ.

Yes that's doable for sure. I wonder if it's worth the risk of getting caught though. Receiving a fine, or going to jail for a few days, not exactly sure what the actual penalties are.
I am kind of confused about this hand:

Do you mean the flop was 966 cause I don't see how you have a boat on the runout you posted?
Great result tho congrats!
Yo galvin, Trevor here. Are ya gonna be in macau during cny? I'm actually heading over from 18-21 feb. can meet for a meal if you're free
@klimbo: yeah you're right, wrong board oops
@trevor: nope, I'm returning on the 13th to spend CNY in singapore, not sure when I'm returning to Macau but it would be after you leave.
I went on a crazy recording spree and recorded 12 videos in the past 2 days
4 for my Youtube channel, 4 for PS and 4 for my course. I guess you gain some motivation to play when you know you're going to be out of action for a while.
The Singaporeans on FB are all scrambling to play their final TCOOP tournaments as well. Somehow it feels like the end of an era, pretty similar to what I was feeling when I graduated from high school. Looks like I'm going to be playing mostly on donk sites and some live poker for now. On to the next phase of life...
It's going to be really hard for me to hit the 50k/month requirements without missing more than 2 months thing so maintaining SNE is very tough, let alone being able to earn 1 mil points even if everything goes as planned.
New Zoom episode at nl500
Btw i dropped my S5 into the toilet bowl. Placed it on top of the heater after shitting and when I was trying to take my clothes it slipped and fell into the bowl. The battery and cover came off (probably because I didn't closed the water proof cover properly) and everything got wet. I was smart enough to quickly dry everything, but stupid enough to fix everything together and turn the phone on. It worked for a while but the internal circuits were probably fried after a while.
Anyone knows any tricks on how to claim the warranty? Would be pretty tilting if I had to spend 800 on a new phone.
did you try to fully dry the phone? It might still be wet inside, I hear that the bag of rice trick works for that.
thanks for the suggestion - Will try that out.
Currently I'm not sure why I'm still able to play at stars, but I'll take what I can get. I took some shots at NL5K FR because there was a Chinese fish in the game. At first I stacked him for 2k (AK vs AQ pre), then I lost 3k, then I won it back. A few hours later he was back after I returned from lunch so I played again and dropped 50bb to the fish as well as to a reg, which brings me to a grand total of -5k. Perma Runbad at nosebleeds sigh.... Hope this doesn't happen to me if I start taking shots at the NL10k at wynn.
how did you get on the table? i thought only the top regs and seat-scripters get seats in the nl5k games.
also, was it just one fish and 8 good regs? or were some of the regs clearly below highstakes level? sometimes i wonder about these nl5k tables.
it was during offpeak (Afternoon in Asia which is early morning in Europe) and it was FR so there were more seats empty for me.
Maybe 3-4 of the regs are top notch (marcus, fish) and you have a few other guys like myself and iceman and a couple of other familiar names who play 1k 6max and FR. Nothing too crazy, I'm down 5k at 5k this year (3k at reg tables and 1.5k at zoom). Here are the 4 largest pots for today.

How about moving out of the country to keep playing/coaching? Seems to me that you have come to a point where I personally would like to milk it for all it's worth.
@KZ: I'm already in Macau and I will stay overseas at least for the next 2 years to earn as much money as possible. My current problem is that I have to prove my residing address (staying with my friend and I'm not paying any bills, nothing is under my name) and there are a bunch of other problems associated with this. Which makes it likely that I will lose my SNE status.

Something you might want to consider is trying to get the electricity bill under your name. I'm not sure how it is now, but in 2009 I remember having to go to the electricity department in Macau cause we kept on forgetting to pay the bill, despite there being 7-11s everywhere. Worth a try if you/your flatmate has to pay electricity separately.
@gobby88: Hmm he's actually paying for everything, that's the agreement we had for me coaching him for free
I also received an e-mail from skrill saying that they are going to stop serving Singaporean customers from March onwards. This is not looking good... Probably need to get some new residential address elsewhere to restore access to all my accounts.

I'm sorry to hear about all this bureaucratic crap.
I'm with you buddy, show 'em who's the boss!
I fly back to Singapore tomorrow for the Chinese New Year, will probably be back in a week's time.
Stats:
65 hours, +78000 HKD, 1200 HKD/hr, Won 4 out of 11 sessions
I ran pretty hot during my final session, made 55000 today. Starting to feel like 2k HKD/hr is very doable at 100/200 if I play close to perfect given limited information
So I'm trying to work this out. Assuming you only plaeyd 100/200.
You won almost 40 buyings at 100/200 in 65 hours? 65 hours at about say 30? hands an hour is about 2k hands.
So that'd be a winrate of 20bb/100. I'd guess rake is probably up around 10bb/100?
30bb/100 seems reachable if games are soft.
How does that look?
2k HKD/hr is 1.6x that, which would be about, 32 bb/100 pre rake or 40/bb 100 with rake. Which seems like games would have to be very soft to be achievable.
