Dude, you've got so many personalities I'd love to know how you have so much time for poker!

Yeah, I'd worry about getting a job and improving your life Gary more than anything. We do have 2 accounts here on Pokerstrategy and we will occasionally not log out and accidentally post in each other's names. I apologize for that.
I wouldn't mind giving you some coachings as well if you desire. You can look me up anytime as you seriously need some help. Keep the tilt on the table my friend.
Are you still upset we had that conversation a year ago? Where I nicely told you to get off my skype but you wouldn't? If you don't want to read about things, just go do something else on the weekends than read this blog then. I haven't bothered to do any blogging because of you and your gang, but a lot of student's and people on here have asked me on numerous occasions when I'm going to blog because they love it.
If the current mods don't like the blog they can erase it. I have no problems if they want me to stop.

Hey bro,
PokerStrategy was a side job for me so no need to worry about that for me - my life is very good at the minute - things improve everyday.
I wouldn't class myself upset over anything - although I'd like to give good honest people a heads up that they are not exactly dealing with who they might believe they are.
Sorry to hear that you stopped blogging because of me and please don't stop because I may post a few home truths for time to time.
Happy new year to both you and Dave and best of luck for 2015!
Consider this my last post in your blog

On a side note, here are some hands where you can definitely learn something.
Put him on some crazy tilt for the next 25mins.
Because he does this.
Taking a break from zoom and playing these regular 20nl tables is really fun. Now I know why people sometimes can't move up it's because they watch WAY TOO MANY high stakes poker shows on TV.
People are just trying way toooooo hard when the right way to play is just to play very basic ABC and let people around you spew.
One of the students sent me this graph... His shots at 100NL finally breaking through and looks like he's going to be there to stay now!! Keep it up bro!

Happy for this guy though. He's working hard and it's finally starting to show!
Hahahah wtf is that call with 77?!?!?! ![]()
I was thinking about asking you to post some sick bluffs since with my FR nit background have trouble bluffing enough I think, maybe i should just work even harder on my valuebetting
:f_biggrin:
Most wining regs on NL100zoom does not bluff enough, there are few who does overbluff, but they are breakeaven or loosing. Its very dificult to balance, who does it right play higher. That said you do not need crazy spewy lag play to crush NL100 zoom at least.
Thanks serverm07! I'm going to need the luck to get there!
dooleslovs, you are right. A lot of players bluff too much but I think it's just bad. Bluffing too little isn't going to hurt your game but you probably won't advance too far. There is a balance but it also comes along with your hand reading abilities. Once you can hand read better and narrow someone's range, then you can bluff and be much more successful at it.
I post a lot of hands but I don't play like a complete bluffing fish like some of these hands show. I just use the image I create really well. In fact I'm probably the most boring player to watch. ![]()
But you are definitely right. The right approach at 100NL zoom is just to let the other regs do the spewing and we just sit and collect the monieZ!!!!!
Challenge end of week 1!
Hands: 2940
Starting BR: 168.52€
Bankroll: 330.69€
Profit: 162.17€ (Including RB)
Looks like I might not have to grind 10NL at all which will make things definitely a lot easier since I spew way too much
. I might even start taking 50nl shots at 1k BR depending on how good things are running.
If only poker was this easy all the time... It can be!!!!
I know, that you know that I would raise all of my sets OTF. I also know that you know that this overbet is full of it as I 3b 10% vs utg so you can eliminate JJ from my range and easily value ship any Jx or overpair for value. I know that you know that I'm a fish. ♠_evil:
Next update will be next Sunday and I'll be sure to post some interesting hands!
Until then,
Have fun,
and grind hard!
BrokeSoBroke
Nice hand, hate his overvaluing overpair on the turn, but maybe that's easy to say because I can see the whole hand, including what you had
he how is it going -i put a broke in brokesobroke? We're missing your update in our https://forums.pokerstrategy.com/forum/thread.php?threadid=326222&goto=firstnew !
Sorry for the lack of any updates. For anyone who is celebrating Chinese New Year, Happy New Year!!!!!
I've been really busy this year as a few people have registered and started 30hr programs and I've been trying to play catchup.
As far as the challenge go, I haven't played since my last update. Simple reason is I have very little time to grind. I spend a lot of time with my family on the weekends so it leaves daytime for coaching. The spare time I have are basically for grinding when the kids go to sleep. ![]()
I've reached a deal with a good friend of mine which allows me to play a bit higher than I usually do. So soon I'll be able to grind 1kNL and 2kNL (whenever games run). Very happy and I hope he enjoys the ride as well!
Update as far as this year goes, it's not too bad considering it's time I started grinding midstakes. I was always stuck to playing 200NL zoom but now people are pushing me to play higher so I decided to play some reg tables starting Jan 1st. Took a while to adjust to the difference in games but now grinding all stakes 100nl-600nl so far. Considering I don't play on weekends, it's not too bad.

Fun stuff. Can't get this run below EV thing off my back. Keep trying to push it off but it keeps coming back. ![]()
Getting some coachings for PLO as well. Also working with the same friend who's helping me play higher. We had a review session where he looked over my game. From a person that plays up to 20k PLO he says I'm not that bad.
Must be all those practice days in the home games with the students playing 10PLO. LOL
One major leak I had. I'll post the hand here. I didn't realize I had J high with my NL thinking this got PLO coach laughing for a bit.. I did mention to him that I am a PLO fish.
I guess me and fish are on the same level. He thinks he's value betting full house, and I'm calling with a full house too. Keep forgetting that this is a different game. Anyway, you live, you learn. I find it so hard to fold in NLwith only 2 cards!!!!!
FML when you give me 4 cards to play with!!!!!!!!!!
Fun hand with my friend... x3mwisp...
I know he's streaming for you guys so I thought I would make his stream a bit fun...
My thought process... Ahwell, here's one for his viewers... Lets see if he calls with Ax or KK/QQ............. ![]()
http://weaktight.com/7390719
I'm in CO. Reg pulls of one of the weirdest bluffs because I probably don't fold Ax. It's weird he does anything on this turn. This is something that a lot of microstakes players have mastered... It's called the art of button clicking.
Just don't do it. If you do it, please do it on a better board and better runout. So many times I see regs do this and facepalm...
Games at 400NL/600NL now officially run around me.
It generally takes some time before this stops when they realize in fact that I am the crazy fish... Usually it stops when they realize I am taking their moniez with this fishy image. ![]()
One person came to me and we did 2hrs together...
Thanks LgWz for referring him to me! It's always good working together with some other guys!
"Yeah, I´m happy too, and I feel like we pretty much didn´t even start to work yet:)"

I don't know if it was rungood or not but whatever I told him in those 2 hours he came back to me with this graph. Let's hope I can guide him to beat 500z.
For now, have a great weekend!
BrokeSoBroke
Grinded a little bit while kids were out sleeping from a short car ride.
Not so nice to take my stack. ♠_evil:
So I will torture you for the rest of your poker days. ♠_biggrin:
Thank you for some of my money back. I still think you lucked out. You're still wondering wtf are with all these overbets. I know.
BrokeSoBroke style. You have no idea what I have. Confused ya! TY, come again! Got my stack back in 2 orbits.
Nicely done!
The first hand - it seems he is just not getting any value from his hand whatsoever, unless you happen to hit a second jack on the river so looks like he got really lucky.
Overbetting this looks interesting. One of the things I like with getting some dynamic going with a player is you can get them to play differently to their usual ABC game (like here I mean him not knowing what you're doing with the overbets). I tend to try to use chat do to this sometimes, for instance in an MTT recently - someone beats me in a pot and I say something like 'oh do you like your big blind?' and then start raising them alot, they call alot wider than they would usually and by keeping it tight postflop unless i'm good - I find it can get some value out of them. Just an example of affecting the actions of players at the table with the way we act which your overbetting reminded me that I've been experimenting a bit with recently.
The pitfall though which is something I've got to be careful is, that I don't level myself with this for instance thinking - well he thinks I'm super loose now, so he's calling me very light, and I start betting thinner value and start to own myself instead of other way around.
Nice to see you got some of your money back from him!
Starting to grind 400nl and 600nl on a full time basis. These guys with these seating scripts are too fast for the average guys. So the only way to get tables is to just sit and battle with regs.
By the looks of things regs at these stakes are a lot easier to deal with than I thought.
So far this year has been going pretty good. Would like to get volume up a bit but I'm only one person. ![]()

I was hoping to have ~50-60k hands. Probably might by the end of the month if I continue fighting for some spots at these tables.
So it was an uneventful day mainly playing just regs on Stars but having lots of fun.
Some guys are having problems dealing with this unique person. ![]()

Villian saw me overbet a few times (with no showdown). Villian also saw me pot A4 on turn and river on Axx when checked back with 2nd pair. I don't know about his line. But I like it. ![]()

Like TwiceT would say... "I like to move it! Move it!"
Also started my PLO Journey! People say that I might not turn back. We'll see!

Redline... Check!
Blueline... Check!
PLO crusher in the making! ![]()
