Another line. AKo vs Unknown opponent

You could 3 bet to 250 or so and call a shove, but calling in position is fine too.
As played I’m most likely bet flop here, because if he had hit this board he most likely bet it and now you can try to win the hand without a contest and he folds better hands like mid pocket pairs.

River is interesting. You hit your straight and he is extreme aggressive now. I don’t think most players slow playing QJ or better 2 streets in a row on the 50c stakes.

So I expect he will have straight to or TT in a spot like this. K9 he’s most likely folding pre-flop and AK he could play the same way. I expect you will split here or he wins with TT, but I don’t think I could fold in a spot like this.

Hard to say anything about villains opening range but I don`t think he`s too loose player because this is first hand he plays.

Preflop: From this positions 3betting AK would be fine. At these stakes we could more easily get calls from worst aces so it would be a value 3bet. But like I said, totally unknown villain so I would tend to flat.

Flop: Most of the time players would cbet this flop w/AK so I think villains range is more towards some middle pairs he don`t want to burn money with on flop. That being said we could make a stab on flop and take the pot down very often.

Turn: When hero chback flop and turn pairs the board I don`t see much sense to bet. Now we are just hoping more a cheap showdown.

River: Because what I said about the flop, this seem like fold when villain bet-shoves but it`s definitely not an easy fold. Like SDK1987 said, we split it sometimes but not sure if often enough.

Another thing, after he is checking the turn what hands remain in his range?

AK/AT/maybe A9/33-TT

I think my line (which is probably well suboptimal and likely old fashioned!) would be to 3 bet to 270 preflop. C bet 50% pot on flop or maybe turn and I still couldn't fold.

As played by you, I would have Cbet turn.

I would take a stab on the flop. If he has a piece of it he will most likely bet. As played I can never fold on the river. This is $0.50 and on these stakes most players don't know what they are doing. Most of the time you will see some odd hands, or wired bluffs. He has a boat, so be it, going to the next one.

Imo you can make an assumption that maybe he is a reg cause mostly on this level if has not play any hand in 12 hands its a good guess. If he is reg and goes to the standar tight early approach I think on the river its split or loose as the SDK1987 said. Very difficult to fold there for me anyway.
Generally I like your line against most of your opponents that you will meet in these limits.
