Yes, you're right. It motivates me so much :f_cool:

ducupoka, yes, it was my 66 vs his 22. And yes, I like to donk when there is a fish in the pot maybe too frequent :f_grin:
(I know it's my leak, but I'm trying to use logic when faced with such donk-or-check/raise dilemma)
But I'm still not sure if I should donk here or check-raise.
When played, I've decided not to check-raise because I've considered board dry enough, and wasn't sure if reg will cbet here often.
However, when I donked, I've found that I should probably donk/call rather than donk/3bet to keep fish envolved.
So both options have their minuses and I have to choose lesser evil :f_mad:

I have pretty interesting hand, I wonder if I am too nitty here :f_confused:
Poker Stars, $0.10/$0.25 No Limit Hold'em Cash, 8 Players
Poker Tools Powered By Holdem Manager - The Ultimate Poker Software Suite.

SB: $22.75 (91 bb)
Hero (BB): $25.35 (101.4 bb)
UTG+2: $41.84 (167.4 bb)
MP1: $23.42 (93.7 bb)
MP2: $31.21 (124.8 bb)
MP3: $56.18 (224.7 bb)
CO: $75.27 (301.1 bb)
BTN: $10.41 (41.6 bb)

Preflop: Hero is BB with 8 8
2 folds, MP2 raises to $0.75, 2 folds, BTN calls $0.75, SB calls $0.65, Hero calls $0.50

Flop: ($3) 8 9 K (4 players)
SB checks, Hero bets $2.90, MP2 raises to $7.95, 3 folds

Results:

Spoiler

$8.80 pot ($0.40 rake)
Final Board: 8 9 K
SB mucked and lost (-$0.75 net)
Hero mucked 8 8 and lost (-$3.65 net)
MP2 mucked and won $8.40 ($4.75 net)
BTN mucked and lost (-$0.75 net)

BU and SB are big passive fishes, so I decided to donkbet pot.
Openraiser is 17/13 and has +6bb per 48k
Opens 14% from MP, wtsd 26, wwsf 42, w$sd 58
When PFR IP, fold to donkbet in multiway pot 65(34) - pretty much I think
Also cbets 41, so it's one more reason to donk for me.

Because of his high fold to donk, I think he'll raise here with 99, KK and 98s
6 combs beat me, I beat 3 combs.
Maybe he can raise here with AK and AA for protection (my dbet/fold is 80, but I don't know if he sees it), but I'm not sure whether he'll stack with them.

Although 6max player I ll make an attempt to make a kind of evaluation. Imo fold is weak.
Mp2 can have hands like AA, AKs, QcJc, AcTc,AcJc, KcQc,TJs etc +89s (if he holds 89s I guess all those are in his range).
I don't think fold vs donk stat is so relevant here. In a multi way pot I expect mp2 to play honest anyway (in that perspective 65 is not so huge, btw how much is your fold vs donk in multiway?:f_p:), however I wouldn't put him only to KK,99.
I would check his Afq though to see if he is passive, in particular on the flop.
Here more important things imo than his fold vs donk stat are stuff like 1) how he plays his draws, 2) does he play fast his monsters etc.
That is I would call the flop and re-evaluate the turn. And I don't plan to fold if I hit a boat.
Actually vs his range I wouldn't mind a shove flop. But that might cause of my 6max instincts :).

SB: $32.75 (131 bb)
BB: $25 (100 bb)
Hero (UTG+2): $25.05 (100.2 bb)
MP1: $47.65 (190.6 bb)
MP2: $34.66 (138.6 bb)
MP3: $57.35 (229.4 bb)
CO: $25 (100 bb)
BTN: $26.13 (104.5 bb)

Preflop: Hero is UTG+2 with A A
Hero raises to $0.75, 4 folds, BTN calls $0.75, SB calls $0.65, BB calls $0.50

Flop: ($3) 2 9 5 (4 players)
SB bets $2.86, BB calls $2.86, 2 folds

One more nitty fold from me =)
BU is some kind of reg-fish, 17/8 with wwsf 39 - really straightforward and -5bb/100 winrate
SB big fish 54/3, passive in generally, but aggro on the river: 23-33-52 his aggression by streets
wtsd 23, wwsf 53, w$sd 50 (50)
donk 13(46), notecaddy sais he did it once with two pair, one on board; have no samples on his reaction to raise donk
BB zero reg 15/12, wtsd 26 wwsf 42

So he donks potbet pretty quick and BB reg snapcalls. Fish is passive and definitely has a good hand; reg has some king of draw or maybe pocket pairs like TT-JJ
I've decided that I have two options here: to raise and to stack or to fold right now. I see now, that call can be an option too, but at that moment I was sure that fish will also potbet the turn and probably go all-in by the showdown.
What do you think? Can we call? On what cards we should continue calling the turn?

How many hands we have from the fish? Cause in his eyes hands like TPTK or QQ might be the nuts.
Knowing that I m ahead of the reg-fish I would call the flop and see how sb-big fish plays on the turn.
I wouldn't cont to a 2nd pot size bet, but I would hope him to check and then probably value bet myself.
Also if bet size would decrease I would consider to call again depending on the sizing and the texture.

I'm not sure at all that reg would raise here with pure FD. In fact, I was sure than he calls with FD and OESD - we've got two big fish behind.
However, he can have KQ and raise for protection, because my donk looks weak here.
Right now I would go for check/raise :)

Well, I have different stats now for him :f_smile:
But now this fold looks ridiculous - I don't know why I've decided I have no call option here :f_biggrin:
In fact, fish looks more aggressive now, and it's definitely flop call and then revaluation on the turn, like you've said)

Hi,

Hand 88, I think it is super nitty fold. IT is not that you should be happy about raise, but you beat some bluffs. I would personally raise KQ+ vs that donk, because it is also often just a draw, or some weak top pair, with a plan to bet turn check river with KQ, AK, AA, and to stack off sets.
Not sure how MP plays, but still in average it is too nitty.

AA hand, again not super happy about action, but too nitty. If I would be SB, I would be donking all my flush draws and 9x hands, also sets. checking with 9x really sucks. other guy is not that strong, mostly 9x and draws. So in your shoes, I would raise overpairs, and 9x, sets, with plan to bet/fold pairs 2 streets check river. if they 3bet, you have easy decision.

since you make so extremely nitty folds, you likely think that regs donk only nuts, but thats not the case. you can filter your database and see what regs are donking, to have better idea.

About 88 hand my friend have already told me about KQ+ and my nitty fold :f_mad:
AA hand - raise/fold looks good idea, I've never thought about it, thanks :f_thumbsup:

In fact I can say that I had a lot of offline ussies, even name it crisis, but in my experience after crisis I get significant boost for my game :sfishg:
I've decided to work out all Schnitzelfish's motivation guides and according to it plan my game for a week ahead, not a month. However I will post month results here - it make no sense to sum up in a smaller distance.
Also I'm scrupulously working with w34z3l's red-line series and making homework to it, so just join - it's really fun!
