Day1:
I think I was lucky with the tables. I was sreated next to a whale twice ! It's pretty weird to play regular tables in stead of zoom/fast. I played an hour on 115 hands (instead of 500-750 hands). I need to put myself faster on waitlists because it took long before I was seated on my second table.

first impression is really positive. Regs seemed tight, tables seemed very soft. It could obviously be variance.

Hands played: 115
My C Won: +$10.87

Yeah, I know the food/training stuff. I'm pretty experienced if it comes to gym (btw proteine is heavily overrated by many gym-enthousiasts). But I'm just making my comeback. Can't expect to be very muscular yet obviously.

Strength is also making improvements so let's hope the muscles follow :f_thumbsup:

You should use Tablescanturbo, which would do everything for you: finding fish, waiting list, opening table, etc.

I can sell you mine very cheap

Day 2

Hands played 307 hands
Profit: $88

It's really weird to play regular tables on another site. The low volume just feels so awkward, the software also isn't as good as on stars. But hey, the games still feel soft so .. (even though still no sample, it's still weird to see several regs limp a lot or check/fold a lot .. so)

Day 3

Hands played: 954
Profit: $20 (adjusted -25)

Software still feels weird, games are still feeling fish .. like really big whales on almost every table (really 80% limp and stuff).
Today I ended up because I won QQ vs 88 I guess and several other AI's where I was ahead.
The QQ vs 88 wss pbb vs a reg that made a tilt move or something .. I 4betted him some hands before suddenly he shoves in SB vs my 4b (CO) .. Obv I called

Also was UL a couple of times

Hand 1:
This dude never folded to cbets so it seemed, he already raised me a couple of times OTF and he had a really high 3bet on a really low sample. I didn't have solid reads but it was for sure he wasn't playing like a normal reg or something. That's why I decided to raise the river .. I think I played the hand fine

Flop I did for value
Turn I pbb have a bluffcatcher here .. he has some Kx in his range and also some Qx .. he will also start bluffing his FD's
River I think I still get value from Kx and 2 pair and maybe even a weaker 9. Enough value to raise here imo ?

First hand, I check/fold turn. It is a very bad spot and there is absolutely no good card that can comes out except the precise one you got. You should try calculating your equity on this hand, even with a very wide range of floating + flush draws + straight draws and everything, your equity is so badddddd! Insta fold here.

The next two hand are kinda tricky to me. Hand 2 I do call river

Hand 3, I think that check/folding would be better. According to the board, by what hand do you wish to get call with? Even AT shouldn't call here. A set would have raised before the river also. To me, you value nothing here.

Hand 3: X/F a straight vs a big fish ? Neverrrrr ! I don't really care what he should do .. he will call 2 pair here and pbb some toppair as well :P There's a lot of value in B/F here

@Vonki: thanks !

You only have 4 hands with him and he's stacked max, what makes you think he's a fish?

Week recap

It was one of the weirdest weeks since I started again. It definetly has to do with the staking. I feel like I was asleep the whole week. I think it had to do with the fact that I played at another site + having to table select + playing at new stakes + playing at 6 max tables that werent full + not having table optimizer to let me see pot odds directly, not having nice hotkeys etc etc etc

I think eventually I was more focussed at bumhunting than poker itself. I guess it isn't bad to play against regs sometimes while placing myself on some waitlists.

At the end of the day/week I made some profit wich is surprising considering how bad I played + the bigger stakes. Yesterday it seemed that for some reason I had €50 less then I was supposed to. Today I noticed my cashier showed the amount I expected (phewww). Pbb some big lag on the Bwin cashier or something, dunno.

Weird week, well bought Tipton HU strat volume 1 book. Looking forward to reading it. Will also start studying better again. Might make some study volume goals.

Challenges and goals

Longterm goal: Make 30k/year post-RB
Wich translates to 500k hands/year on 200nl (2-3bb/100) or 1-2bb/100 on 400nl
This is a very moderate volume obviously, since I want something I can maintain while working. I think it's important to be realistic here in case of volume

Short term goal:
* Beat 50nl , move up to 100nl before 1st September, beat nl100 regular tables before the end of the year (wishfull thinking?)
* Learning to defend my blinds better (OOP postflop moves)
* Develop a decent understanding of balanced ranges using GTO and get an overall better understanding of postflop

Short term challenges
* play 3k hands / week (around 12-15h week) --> build this up to 5k and then 7k , then 10k
* deep analysis of at least 1 hand / day (considering ranges and balance): atm BB vs BTN/CO hands.
* read will tiptons book, 15 min / day
* watch 3 training videos/week
* Use warm-up / cool-down again
* fill in a, b, c-game profile after each session + tilt profile: use c-game and tilt to set new learning goals
* sweat or at least strat discussion with someon at least once a week: set learning goals if I get usefull feedback

Day 5

Since the payout stsuff takes a while at bwin and another site I decided to play some at bwin today. It actually went pretty well .. I found tables even though they were full at first. I was pretty concentrated and I didn't play horrible (still made some mistakes I shouldn't make)

Hands played: 391
Profit: $ 36

Day 6

Hands played: 537
Profit: $140

Challenges:

* Week hands: 928/3000
* Hand analysis (will follow shortly in an edit)
* Tiptons book : check
* training videos 0/3
* Forgot warm-up today
*Cool down: I played almost my a-game. I felt really good calm and comfortable. Felt concentrated and I think I didn't spew in any hands ! Wich is awesome (pbb also because of the rungood). Variance had a big impact. I stacked 2 times, 1 preflop KK vs QQ and 1 time lucky postflop .. (got 3bet, called w/ JJ , called Q high flop IP, turn J hit b1/3p for a comfortable rivershove, A hits OTR and villain shoves .. I crycall with my set, villain shows KQ ..). The session wasn't difficult .. so many fish and whales .. I decided to keep playing on bwin (more on that bellow). Will fill in my game profiles now
* Sweat: added a guy who also plays on bwin NL25 and NL50, he wants to discuss hands with me.

Good news
I discovered partycaption wich has preset betsizes, improvements to layout (i needed this so bad) and some other cool stuff (like pot odds % hud) so I'll buy it .. it's only $38 wich is cheap as fuuaarrk for what it does for me. The changes to layouts actually also make the tables less buggy ! Wich is cool.

Day 7

Hands played: 390
Profit: $50 (adjusted $26)

Challenges:

* Week hands: 1308/3000 ($230 profit/$180 adjusted)
* Tiptons book : check
* training videos 0/3
* Warm-up check
*Cool down: I played pretty good, it was a swingy session though, stacked others a couple of times but lost most of it. I could definetly have won more, was UL on one board runout at the end vs a fish .. I had a straight and the river layed trips on the board so I had to fold. On the other hand I can't deny running well obviously. This week I'm running at 44bb/100 wich is obv absurd good run.
Today I think I played between A and B game. Didn't spew though, that's really nice, made some though folds (QQ OTT vs a reggy player who 3bet me PF CO vs MP on a low runout, didn't feel any emotion and felt really comfortable and confident making the fold :) ). The session was not really that difficult, I think I played pretty well. Variance obv had a large impact in the results .. could have lost some money if i didn't get action with my AA could also have won 2-3 times the amount I made with some better runouts. I also realise this sample is no sample, but still the tables seem really soft and the regs don't impress me atm .. most of them have big and obvious leaks (pbb like myself :) ).

Good news
I bought partycaption, it's awesome. I also discovered I will also be able to get to the toptier in the VIP program of BWIN (only 20% RB tho). With my certain volume I'd get around 1-2k euro rakeback/year wich is pretty decent (it's obv not my main goal, but I was a bit curious)

Day 8

Hands played 639
Profit: -$71
Week hands: 1957/3000
Tiptons book check
training vids 0/3 (failed pbb)
Strat discussion through skype 1/1
Warm-up failed
Cool-down failed

Day 9

Hands played (might do another session): 686
Profit: $126
Week hands: 2649 (profit almost $300)
Training vids 1/3 (didn't pay good attention, will need to see it again)
Strat discussion skype: 1/1
Warm-up .. I kinda did it
Cool-down, will do it now

Day 10

Lowest point of the day -$178

Hands played: 893 (nice volume for me on the reg tables)
Profit: -$58 (adjusted -$25 .. if bwin didn't lag I could go for the AIEV rostucko )

I'm really happy with how I maintained calm, pushed through the losses and started to win again. I think this is the first or only second time I managed to do this ! :) so that's a major improvement. I'm also feeling pretty confident still .. still making mistakes but also learning quickly from them.

Still not impressed by the level of play on bwin 50NL, in a sense that I think I'm at the level of most regs (not better though , pbb just an average reg atm). Obv my results say nothing it could be 100% variance atm .. I could easily be a losing player at this point, but at least the chance is a bit bigger to be a winning player considering the results

All time:
6k hands played
$245 profit ($240 AIEV) + about $34 rakeback if I can get to the highest tier (should be possible .. rakeback at bwin sucks though but who cared when you're money is coming from players in stead of rakeback right .. ?)
BB/100: 9.87 (AIEV 9.26)

Week:
3542/3000 hands played (check!)
profit $ 224 (202 aiev) + $20RB'ish
bb/100 15 (13 aiev)

Yesterday I discovered a leak in my game blind vs blind. Basically I have big problems on A high flops blind vs blind, especially OOP.
I'm trying to create a range to play vs stronger regs here.

This is what I come up with;

partypoker - $1 NL (6 max) - Holdem - 6 players
Hand converted by PokerTracker 4

CO: 59.59 BB
BTN: 100 BB
Hero (SB): 109.29 BB
BB: 109.53 BB
UTG: 126.9 BB
MP: 124.48 BB

Hero posts SB 0.5 BB, BB posts BB 1 BB

Pre Flop: (pot: 1.5 BB) Hero has J♥ Q♦

fold, fold, fold, fold, Hero raises to 2.5 BB, BB calls 1.5 BB

Flop: (5 BB, 2 players) 6♣ A♠ 2♦
Hero bets 3 BB, BB calls 3 BB

Turn: (11 BB, 2 players) 3♣
Hero checks, BB bets 7 BB, fold

Spoiler

BB wins 17.45 BB

Cbetting range: (52%)
At least toppair + 5th kicker: 16.9% (so all 2 pairs and sets also included)
all backdoorflushdraws 25%
all gutshots 0.23%
al Q highcards 10%

X/C: (30% pbb too high)
middlepairs 16.5%%
K high 13.5%

X/F:18% (pbb too low)
Rest 18%

So this a a range where I tried to balance but it's still exploitable in a sense that I still think even the better regs will pbb overfold most of the time.
I could pbb put some Q high in my X/F range (Q9o, Qh4h-Qh9h) And put some weaker Kx hands in my cbet range.. in this way my cbet is a little lower, my X/C is lower and my X/F is bigger.

In a GTO perspective I should do a lot of cbetting QJo x% and X/F x% I guess .. not really sure how the best regs do this against eachother, but for an easy strat I think mine might work .. the only thing that bothers me is that my X/C is a bit capped I guess. Can pbb calldown every Ax for 3 streets though and maybe also KK and QQ depending on the runout.
Edit: and also some of my middle pairs can still make sets and 2 pair so I shouldn't be worried about this I guess

Too bad , have to move down again. Didn't play my best and didn't run that great. I think I really ran bad in 4bet pots, they occur way more at 100NL that's for sure.

The downmove hand vs a weak player .. it looked promising untill he jammed. He still has 46, 5x here or 33 or 77 .. he's not bluffing ever imo

2 hands where I'm angry with myself: I'm trying to force it here wich is never good. At least I don't spew hard like I used to .. but still these mistake have to dissapear as well

Hand 1: No need to 4bet vs this reg .. ok it's a nice sqz spot for him and ok the SB is a weak player .. the 4bet is pbb not horrible bc/of blockeers but still ... it's not necessary with a mediocre offsuit ace .. My 4bet frequencies in these spots are often out off control so I need to fix that.

Hand 2:
Well he cold 4bets. I'm 3betting a reg so I'm not doing this light + I'm merged. When he 4bets he's pbb only doing this with really strong hands I guess + a flat is OOP. I have to hope for an A, Q or clubs .. and the A and Q arent clean, the clubs are just a draw .. So I guess I should fold PF here

Ohhh:
I forgot I played some FAST hands because I had to wait for a table and it was fishy. So theoretically I don't have to move down yet. I will just use this $50 zone to table select between NL100 and NL50 and just choose the best tables available. If I focus on only playing 100NL and not losing money I think I'm making a mistake .. it doesn't feel right.
