Hello Darko,

since I'm on the full-time job path myself (almost extra full), it is very motivating and challenging to see "fellow" full-timers actually putting the effort and dedication.
You seem to have all the ingredients in place ( vision, determination, mentor, plan, gf support) and your success is just a matter of time.

Thanks for the reminder :f_drink:

Hi DarkoK3 :)

Been following and start doing my daily blog posts as you and IvicaIliev77 do... It's way different to force myself thinking about how my next day will be and reach the end of a day and look back to what I did or didn't... It's great to follow you :f_drink:

What is for you and how you do "Analyze one hand" ? (it sounds silly, but I'm asking if you have a particular way of review your game)
How are you training your HU game ?

Yea..im not really updating like IvicaIliev77 but i try :f_biggrin:

Trying to keep updates running by doing it every single day, it can help to push yourself more.

"Analyze one hand" means just to analyze it with calculations, putting opponents on ranges, and thinking about different lines that would be more profitable to play. Im doing at least one per day, its not enough but atm im struggling to complete even that :f_biggrin:

About my work on HU, i have some training videos that i study, not just watch but take notes and study them, one video that last 1h usually take around 2-2,5h for me to study it. I also focus on analyzing HU hands.
And ofc. memorizing all the charts and much more :f_biggrin:

Thanks for the answer :f_thumbsup:

I'm playing 18man Turbo at the moment... Really enjoying the format.

I'm working on my HU too as on FT ICM moves...
I use some Holdem Resources charts, SAGE Endgame and ICMIZER in my study of SnGs. What kind of tools do you use while you study ?

About de "Analyze one hand", it's pretty nice to do that... I'm trying to do that with my tagged hands and improvements on our game become notable with time. Guess it's asking too much, but one day I would like to "Analyze one hand" with you mate... It would be really nice talk and discuss to someone some lines of play.

Keep going the good work :f_drink:

15th Week challenge (Thursday) - DAY 104

- 5/14 studying hours completed
- 78/224 tournaments completed
- 0 session with my dai-sensei _biggrin: completed
- 5/20 hands reviewed

So, yesterday had 10h working shift at ft job. I also have some good news about job, work colleague quit job and now i work alone, good thing about it is that i will have fix work time now of 8h per day so i wont be staying longer anymore and i can finally follow my time management.

Another good news is that im have set date and quitting current job on 31.05. (which makes me very happy since im very unhappy with current job) and starting on another since i dont have enough ROI right now to make a living out of poker. Until then is month and a half and even if i stay one more month without job i have money to cover life expenses from the money i saved and maybe some kind of new deal with coach is in the game, but will see about that yet.

Didnt do study yesterday and played 23 tournaments, now im on 415/900 tournaments minimum required to play, on weekends i can play 60 per day and 30-40 per working days and im finishing 900 easily, that is good when i take in consideration that i had 3 days off and have around 12h that i have stayed longer on ft job that will no longer happen and im quitting it in one and a half month.

I am aware that my time management was not good and i dont study enough, dont analyze and review hands enough, not active enough on our private forum, but that will work out now as i said i have fix work time.

I feel very good about my future in poker! ;)

Thats cool, i like playing 6-max STT, my true passion are more like live and online MTTs but that is still far far away :f_biggrin: Maybe in few years when i make it as a pro in SNGs with 10-15k bankroll then i can try to make some switch.

Yea, i use Holdem Resources too, ofc. PokerStrategy Equilab, ICM trainer - very good software! And that would be it, have intention to use some more softwares that i need to study HU game but didnt download and tested them yet - ICMIZER, CardrunnersEV, Equilator, zZzHyperHelper.

When choosing which hands to analyze , you dont have to do only marked ones, you can set some filter in PT or HM and go from hand to hands and find bad plays, like pre flop situations when you should but didnt open, you made a bad call itc. and also post flop situations when you took bad lines, for example when you isolate yourself to be called only with better hand or to fold opponents medium holdings when you make a big river bet.

As for work together, i would be glad to make some session and do some analyzing with you but at this time i dont have enough time :f_biggrin:
I dont even study enough things that i need to study alone, and beside that i have sessions with coach and with fellow reg from coaching program.
But when i quit my job and if i stay month or so unemployed, then we can arrange some session ;)

Keep up with studying and working on your game since it is key to increase your ROI and mental stability, focus less on money results short term!

15th Week challenge (Friday) - DAY 105

- 6/14 studying hours completed
- 95/224 tournaments completed
- 0 session with my dai-sensei _biggrin: completed
- 5/20 hands reviewed

Yesterday i had really tough day at work, before work in the morning i did some study on HU, got home really tired after work and rested a bit.
Played 17 tournaments 4 tabling, recently i have added 2 more tables from time to time doing 6 tables that way but yesterday i was tired so i decided to go for less volume and tables.
Im happy that my EV line is positive almost every session, the times when its not its usually because bad variance hit me and i make some stupid mistakes.

Anyway, today i have whole day ahead of me, plan to play at least 60-70 tournaments and have around 3-4 hours of study along with webinar that we have today with coaching group.

Updating for Saturday and Sunday!

15th Week challenge (Saturday&Sunday) - DAY 106/107

- 12/14 studying hours completed
- 207/224 tournaments completed
- 0 session with my dai-sensei _biggrin: completed
- 7/20 hands reviewed

Didnt complete hands reviewing and studying hours enough, will push harder to make it in this week.

Yesterday and today were productive day i would say, had two sessions with Jernej, we had first webinar and played 112 tournaments.
Tomorrow have another session with Jernej, we are continuing our work on game plan and when we finish we will post results. Will see about next session with coach.
Grind was ok, had some negative variance in last two days, from tomorrow and on i will have enough time to 2x2h grind and 2h of studying.
I expect to move to 3,5$ limits in next month and make some more money for me and coach.

When it comes to studying, next thing i have in plan is to study and take notes on videos that i didnt watch yet, then along with coach to continue on studying HU game plan. And i need to play 35 tournaments per day to complete minimum of 900 tournaments for this month.

- 0 session with my dai-sensei _biggrin: completed

Yesterday was shitty day regarding grind as you can see, but good thing is that i watched mental game video and reminded just how much close related are mental and tactical games. Have one more video to watch regarding mental game.

Had session with Jernej in the morning, we continued with our work on game plan and besides mental game video i will continue to work on HU on my own and with coach.

16th Week challenge (Wednesday) - DAY 110

- 4/14 studying hours completed
- 80/224 tournaments completed
- 0 session with my dai-sensei _biggrin: completed
- 4/20 hands reviewed

Another shitty day at griding, i felt a little sleepy since last night i had some nausea and didnt sleep much, but i drank energy drink and some coffee and felt better. I played around my B game trough whole session but i had setups all time long, when shoving pre flop late game i kept running in to KK, QQ hands like 10 times.

But that didnt throw me off the balance, i know i have lots of leaks so i cant really get mad at variance when i dont play good enough and blame it all on bad card distribution.
Just gonna keep working on my game and try to play my best game and wait for my fair share of luck :gl:

Also today i finished watching one more mental game video and reviewed some hands with leak finding filter, i found like 7 leaks in 30 min so i know i have tons of work to do.

- 5/14 studying hours completed
- 106/224 tournaments completed
- 0 session with my dai-sensei _biggrin: completed
- 10/20 hands reviewed

Today again ran same filter to review fer more hands from today, still saw same mistakes. Tomorrow ill run next filter and make lots of notes on what areas i should be focusing the most.

In the morning i finishes studying 2nd video on mental game.

Came home after 7pm, ate some fine pancakes and started with grind.

Last few days im in really bad mood and i dont like it, its because of my ft job and i cant wait to finish with it on 31st of May or maybe even sooner i hope. But 31st of May is absolute last day im working on this job.
I will fell 300% better and have more focus and will to crush in poker, will do my best until then.

I am happy that i will play 1000 tournaments until end of April but im not satisfied with my study for now.
