Well, im not sure that i can give you specific filters and if that would be ok since my coach provided that info and i pay for it too :f_biggrin:

There are many filters that you can set, just think about the situations that can show your biggest leaks, like set filter to show you when you lost a hand and combine that one with few others, when you got to river or you didnt etc.

Hope that helps! :f_drink:

16th Week challenge (Saturday&Sunday) - DAY 113/114

- 11/14 studying hours completed
- 228/224 tournaments completed
- 1 session with my dai-sensei _biggrin: completed
- 20/20 hands reviewed

So, yesterday i had time to review lots of hands with filters i have and i found lost of leaks as expected. Writing down all the notes on my bad game so i can review them and work on it.
Did the same today with different filter, worked on my HU game with my coach today.
Grind was not so grat, last 10 days or so im loosing every session with positive EV line mostly.
It makes me tilt during grind and then i play my C game and that is not helping me at all.

I also feel bad because im not achieving enough study hours as i should!
And that effects my game and thinking process especially in this period when i have some bad variance so i start to doubt my game.
I cant wait for 31st of March for then im quitting my ft job and will try to stay ft on poker, have backup plan if that doesnt work, dont worry ;)

So, in next week i need to find enough time to work on my game and regain my self confidence and focus when i do so, it needs to be quality time spend.

Excellent work Darko so far. Keep up the grind and studying. I understand that you are not happy that you are not studying enough. This is actually great news because many people are lazy and don't even think like this. It just shows that you developed strong study habit and that you realize how much there is to learn and keep improving. This is a true habit of any hard working individual and perfectionist - never settling, always setting new goals and targets to keep moving up.
I think you will have much better time after 31st of May when you do quit your FT job and switch to poker. I think in that period you will really and truly find out how much you can handle poker (variance/mental game) and long hours needed to put in to deal with making a living from it. I personally very much look forward to this period as it is just amazing how much you have improved and grown so far, that period will skyrocket your growth even more.
Look forward to our next session and keep up the great work and results will follow of course!

17th Week challenge (Monday) - DAY 115

- 1/14 studying hours completed
- 32/224 tournaments completed
- 0 session with my dai-sensei _biggrin: completed
- 0/7 hands analyzed

In the morning before ft job i had one grind session, only thing good about these micro limits is that there is always traffic.
Sometimes i decide to play, sometimes to study in the morning.

So, when i got back first i finished with lost hands filters, now im using the ones to see my opening ranges.

17th Week challenge (Tuesday) - DAY 116

- 2/14 studying hours completed
- 41/224 tournaments completed
- 0 session with my dai-sensei _biggrin: completed
- 0/7 hands analyzed

Aaaand another loosing session :)

Its starting to affect my mental game a little, now its like 10 loosing days with only one positive and im starting to think like will i ever have one good day, i mean, i know i will if i keep studying and working on game but this bad run feeling sucks. I am also questioning my game, its like i play 10 times worse then at the beginning of the month when i steadily grinded with profit.

Im not so much in loss because small stakes so i dont loose much money after every session but i had nice run at the beginning of month and now its all gone :f_mad:

So, there are 2 more working days and then 3 days off, i think it will refresh me a bit and i will put in some serious time in studying, i think i will help me get back my confidence.

Today i was working on my new case box for computer so didnt really play many tournaments, studied in the morning, watched 30 min video for hand review.

Yesterday i was reviewing hands using filters to see opening ranges like i said in previous updates, and i found that i need to make some adjustments.
I was grinding hard to complete 900 tournaments played in April and i did it!!! :f_drink:

So, April has ended and here are the results:

- 905/1000 SNG`s

- 3/4 coaching sessions
- 37/60 hours of studying
- Listen and take notes on audiobook The Mental Game of Poker 2 - failed

Lets start with grinding, i am very happy that i managed to complete minimum of 900 tournaments played. On my graph that i will post later say its 890 but i played around 15-20 tournaments without Poker Tracker running so it is more then 900.
I ended up in loss and the main reason is the fact i played 6 tables far more then i should so i can complete minimum 900 tournaments, i am still not ready to play 6 tables and that is shown on my graph. I had to play 6 tables because i didnt have enough time to play 4, i will work harder and sleep few hours less in May so i can complete those 900 tournaments playing 4 tables.

Had 3 sessions with coach, didnt do any this week but will do one tomorrow or on Sunday. We are now working on HU game plan and it is very very important with me to keep working with coach and work with him on things i need to improve.

I didnt manage to complete any where near enough study hours as i wanted, its second reason for my poor money won results in April, i will try harder in May and in June i wont have such problems since i am switching to ft poker and will do far more studying then now.

Didnt listen to Mental Game of Poker 2 audiobook but i had 3 videos regarding mental game that i watched and studied, i will aim to study Mental Game of Poker 2 in May.

So that would be it, im not satisfied with my performance in April, i should work more.
I need to do more in order to make something great, ordinary people work normal and extraordinary work 3x more, that is where i want to be!

Here are graphs for the end:

See you in next update! :f_drink:

Yesterday was day off from everything, i really enjoyed and i feel better.
Today im continuing with poker activities, had one grind session and now playing 4 tables, as predicted it was really much better and more productive then playing 6.

Here are main goals for May:

- 1000 SNG`s
- 4 coaching sessions
- 60 hours of studying
- Listen and take notes on audiobook The Mental Game of Poker 2

If i succeed to complete all goals it will be really good for me for the next part of my poker carrier when im switching to full time poker.

17th Week challenge (Saturday) - DAY 120

- 7/14 studying hours completed
- 147/224 tournaments completed
- 0 session with my dai-sensei _biggrin: completed
- 5/7 hands analyzed

Yesterday i had a nice day, grinding and studying too.

I played 30 tournaments 4 tabling like i said i will and had + of 7 BI, it would be much more if my HU game is better but i still have trouble playing HU. It was far easier for me to look over 4 tables then 6, i can play 6 but with less focus and it reflects on my results so ill stick with 4 some more time.

I was running filters, analyzed some hands and did some work on HU, i will make priority to study HU more in May.

Excellent work in April. May started and your goals are really good for this month. If you put enough hours into HU study it will definitely help you with more 1st vs 2nd which should be one of your main focuses to increase long term ROI.
Look forward to our sessions and keep up the great work!

Keep up the good work dude. Love the comment about not enough time available so going to sleep less, this has Ivac written all over it.

The need for sleeping and eating are just signs of weakness, man up :) ;) :) gl with the grind, you have your whole life ahead of you try to relax a bit. Rome wasn't built in a day( Maybe because Ivic wasn't on that job :) )

Regards

Steve

- 9/14 studying hours completed
- 177/224 tournaments completed
- 0 session with my dai-sensei _biggrin: completed
- 7/7 hands analyzed

Studying - still lacking time for it in past week, cant wait to finish with my FT job in 25 days and put in minimum of 3h per day quality studying
Grinding - i am short for one day grinding and that is Friday when i didnt do anything, that was maybe 10th day off from poker in past 17 weeks :f_drink:
Session with coach - Coach had some home emergency so we delayed session to Monday
Analyzing hands - I am constantly analyzing and reviewing hands since that alone will help me to improve a great deal

18th Week challenge (Monday) - DAY 122

- 4/14 studying hours completed
- 0/224 tournaments completed
- 1 session with my dai-sensei _biggrin: completed
- 1/7 hands analyzed

Yesterday i had coaching session that lasted for 1,5h and it was really good as we continued working on HU game plan and some life game plan as coach always try to help us in all aspects of life. That is think just one of many things that are making great difference between him as good coach and most of the others that care mostly for money they can extract from theyr students.
After that we had 2nd Webinar with coach and others students from group and it lasted for over 2h. I really enjoyed attending and being par of such a great group.

Didnt manage to grind since we finished little before midnight and i had to get up in 6h in the morning so i went to bed after webinar.

More and more i leave updates for the next day, thats not good :f_biggrin:
I need to start updating every night again while still fresh in my mind so i can express my exact thoughts.

Last 2 i didnt do too much when it comes to studying, i hate it that i cant seem to find enough time for it all. Ill try to follow the rule to study 7:30-9:30 in the morning and play only after i finish my job.

Today i did some filters testing in HM2 since i switched from PT4 and now i have almost one more hour to study before job.

I feel better now about grinding since i play strictly 4 tables and my focus is much better.
