DAY 2

What an AMAZING day!
Won 2 tournaments for $24.50 each and final tabled about another 3, min cashed a few as well but I don't really take them into consideration.
When I play these I aim for top 3 always, no matter how short stacked I am, no matter how many bad beats I have to confrunt.
Hands played: 926
BR: $74.48
Profit: $45.48

Looking forward to already achieve my first goal tomorrow and hopefully move up!

Nice that you started a blog about you’re 180 mans adventure.
Looks like you started with only 20 buy-inns on the 180 mans. It’s good to see you’re started great, but I recommend to have at least 200 buy-inns if you’re planning to play the turbo variant only. The variance is ugly in those games and losing 100 buy-inns will happened often here. Even if you’re a fantastic player.

Update:Since the 180 man take such a long time to register, I decided to play all 45, 90, 180 man sngs in the early hours and focus only on 180 man in the later hours. Hopefully it won't affect my grind.

Did a mini 8 tourney session, played 6 45 man 1 90 man and 1 180 man, only cashed one 45 man for $1.82.

That's good to know. Don’t forget the 45 mans will play completely different at the final stage of the tournament, because it’s a flat paid out structure and the 180 mans is a top heavy one. So you need to play a lot tighter at a 45 mans final table.

Good to see after a rough start yesterday that you ended well.

Grinded a lot of 45 mans and 180's, I think I played at my peak, very happy with my decisions, unfortunately i couldn't get a top spot this time.

Did a mini session, running pretty bad, but it's ok. Tomorrow I'm looking forward to grind hard since it's my non training day.

DAY 5 UPDATE!

I decided to move over and try 6 max $1.50 STT because I wanted the smallest variance as possible and biggest skill edge as possible, so far it didn't work out that well.

Finally got the hang of this format.

I think I did it!

After a lot of studying and hard work I can say that it's paying off big time, did a short grind after a lot of HH reviewing to find my leaks, they are almost non existent now.
I'm really enjoying this format, it has no variance, always in the green!
What I'm thinking now that I specialised really well in this format, how many tables to play to maximize hourly rate, I'm thinking sets of 6 or successive 4's, any multi-tabling specialist around here to help me out ?
I tried 8 tabling but for 6 max in the late stages it becomes impossible for me to catch up and it forces me to make worse decisions which leads to smaller ROI.

Just checking you’re blog again and I think you can set more ICM pressure in 45 mans than in 180 mans, because you need to be careful if you’re not the chip leader. If you’re the chip leader you can play pretty loose if they are familiar with ICM. So ICM pressure is higher in 45 mans I think.

Good to see that you’re still improving so far I can see it without any hands you have posted so far.
