I decorated my wall with some graphs and some things i need to remind myself before and after sessions :f_biggrin: Im turning this little poker corner of mine in grinding station nest. I got new chair and next thing that i need is bigger table, that i will get without any expences since i know one guy who doesnt need his very little used one so ill take his and put it to good use :) One thing by one and i made some nice grinding station with 2 monitors, better spec of my pc, new chair and table, now the only thing left that can stand in my way is myself

Have a nice day! :f_drink:

Ranges are staying primary goal and adding HU game plan to fix leaks and increase 1st vs 2nd places because i still really burn money in that area.

Now doing quick update and continuing with study.

Have a good day! :f_drink:

Grind is taking some nicer look now, constructing ranges and working on them mean a great deal in game.

- 441/900 tournametns played
- 45/90 hours of studying
- 2/4 sessions with coach
- 13/60 hands posted for review on our private coaching forum

Yesterday i wrote notes from our last webinar regarding hands analyzing, and ofc work on ranges. Was great webinar and we always cover so much things, really good stuff.

Today did work on my HU game, i really such in that area and need to improove like 100% to make my ROI bigger.
I already had session with coach on HU game plan both for SB and BB so i reviewed one session and started another one.
Tomorrow i plan to review rest of sessions and finish SB game plan. With it to work on memorizing ranges for ICM.

Grinding is going fine, have some nice results in this month. Now off to bed to read those ranges before bed time once again as usual.

Cya tomorrow! :f_drink:

23rd Week challenge (Tuesday/Wednesday/Thursday) - DAY 165/166/167

- 501/900 tournametns played
- 54/90 hours of studying
- 2/4 sessions with coach
- 13/60 hands posted for review on our private coaching forum

Last 3 days i had been working on HU ranges, constructed them, reviewed all 5 sessions with coach each over 1h long. Some of them reviewed twice.
Added notes on how we should adjust in HU play, vs different type of opponents etc. Now when i finished that, im nowhere near end of HU studying :f_biggrin:
Next thing i want to do is to focus on post flop play, how we play different hands vs different opponents and their ranges. A lot of work needs to be done in that area.
Also continued working on ICM ranges.

Grind was ok, im starting to get some nice results lately and it feels good, but i know results will kick in anyway after serious work :)

Only yesterday i didnt grind because in the morning i had ppl coming over to install Air Conditioner, one more + to my EV because its pretty damn hot here and it will be only worse, now that problem is out of the way :)

After that i had to go out to do some stuff and when i got home i had bad headache, tried to take a nap but it didnt help, i finished work on HU ranges, and finaly i had to take a painkiller which i dont like to take but i had to, after it got better and i hit the bed.

Had a good sleep and i feal great now, so much things to do

Wish you a hard working day and great results! :f_drink:

Since you quit your job and went all in with poker, some excellent things going on with your improvement.
In less then 2 weeks you worked on your ICM and improved your HU game plan significantly. Keep up the great work and I am very happy that results are also following this great work rate!

23rd Week challenge (Friday) - DAY 168

- 541/900 tournametns played
- 57/90 hours of studying
- 3/4 sessions with coach
- 13/60 hands posted for review on our private coaching forum

Today i had one more session with Peđa about BB ranges in HU and with it i finished contructing ranges for HU readless.
Now should put them in in daily routine to memorize them and to continue doing home works that i got that will improve a lot my post flop play in HU and make better my ability to perceive opponents ranges well.

And news is that im moving up one limit and im very curious to see how much difference will be at my results after 500-1000 tournaments played.
I have confidence that i can easily make 7-10% ROI if i keep working hard in HU and ICM too, so that is what i will do :)

That is all for today and see you tomorrow with results of first session on higher limit!

Cheers! :f_drink:

Today first day after some time on 3.50$ limits and it was..how could i call it..fun! Ran 50% below EV and there is absolutely no difference between 1.50$ and 3.50$ limits, at least on weekends.
Not really satified with my play today, mostly because i tiltet in some point and that is when i made some bad plays.
Going to work in mental game some more for sure.

Did work in HU today, ICM ranges and had session with Jernej, as always was great and good for both of us :)

Updating for yesterday, did work on HU and ranges as usual, i can now more quickly tell ranges since i learn them each day so i dont forget such important thing to increase ROI. We had webinar, as always very useful and fun.

Started to grind 3.50$ and more games so i expect volume to decrease variance.

Now have lots of new filters to review HU hands so it will help me great deal to increase ROI.

Hey all, sorry for missing my regular updates, i have very busy last 2 days and some very important decisions before that.

I had problems with my time management I have talked to my coach, and finally said out loud what is bugging me in past 23 days that i dont work in FT job and have full day to organize my self.

And thats it, that is what was bugging me most, i had 24h to organize as i want and in 23 days i still didnt find a best way (at least way that is satisfying my expectations) to make my time management, mostly my study management.

It is easy to sit down and play for 4 or 6 hours and your done. But i had trouble in organizing my studying work and making it 100% effective and i feel very bad and i can say even mad on my self about that. I do put in hours but i not satisfied how i spent them, i think i need to be more focused because i have so much things to do and if i dont organize properly it will all fall apart.

When i ended my FT job i thought i have it all under control, but its really hard to make your own time and schedule and to follow it 100% as you do when some one else is paying you to work and not yourself.

So now i made some drastic changes and i feel far better now with my time management and the way i do things.

I thought about ways to change my time management and the way i was studying.

First i got rid most of the entertaining stuff from my PC, they never took too much time but now it wont took any. Now when im not working (poker activities) im not going to sit at computer, i will go out, take a walk or something.

Decided that i wont have time management that is set the same for every day.

I will make a schedule for every upcoming day in details regarding everything (poker and other activities), in that way i will be able to make the things i said i will because if i use one time management for each day there may be some stuff that i need to do in time when i was supposed to study or grind and when i skip something later on it messes up with schedule.
And one more thing is good about this way of working, if i dont feel grinding in my grinding time, if i have fixed time management ill push my self to do it now and not later, but this way i can plan the things when and how i want to do just around 8 hours in advance so i will be more likely to stay in same mindset and i will be in good mood to do them.

For example,
At 10am session with Jernej (10-11am)
At 11am im going to do HH review for 1h, after that i will spent 1h on forum activities (posting hands, replying posts etc.)
At 12am i will rest to 1pm and then gonna do one session of grind (around 2-2,5h long)
At 3-3,30pm i will need to go to help my girlfriends brother to do some work in their apartment (i will be back home at around 6,30pm)
6,30-7pm will eat dinner, take a shower and do 2nd session of grind (around 1,5h long each)
After that update forum and blog.

I posted this example to make it easy for you guys if you have same or similar problems, now this is working really good for me, i am satisfied with how i deal and organize things.

And for last 2 days, i am now in Zadar with my gf at her parents house, we will stay here until Monday and then heading back home in Zagreb, i have brought my laptop with me to do some study and play while here but i feel so strange when it comes to study and grind when not home. Dont have any regular schedule and i have hard time adjusting to this way of working, to grab some chance when i am free and do some work, i am used to have specific time to do the work.

In about half hour we are going for swim and to chill on the beach so when we get back i plan to do 2 hours of studying and 2h of grind, will see if it is doable :)

So by the end of the week i will do as much work as possible and next, like Peđa like to say, going in fanatic mode :)

Will push my self to speed up this whole study and grow process as possible, not in a way to mess all things up and do more damage then good and to steadily grind 60 tournaments per day which would result in 1800 tournaments per month. I need to make this game profitable enough for me very soon :)

So, July has begun, new goals for this month. Big goals.

This is what i am aiming for:

- Play 2100 tournaments
- Study 90 hours (HH review, HU, ICM and bubble play, hand analyzing, hands posting etc.)
- 4 sessions with coach

Those are the main goals, have little swing on down side atm. but will prevail and push it with heavy grinding.

Was away last few days, some interesting things happening every day, testing my endurance and mental game big time, but i wont fall :f_drink:

Will start updating daily again, this month will be hard one and full of challenges but it will make me better player for sure. _cool:
