Just checking you’re blog again and I think you can set more ICM pressure in 45 mans than in 180 mans, because you need to be careful if you’re not the chip leader. If you’re the chip leader you can play pretty loose if they are familiar with ICM. So ICM pressure is higher in 45 mans I think.

DAY 7

Very cool day so far, trained hard in the gym, played 1h30 of football and now looking to reach my first goal, life is good indeed.
Ran really bad in my first session today, still managed to make a small profit of $5, also i'm getting my $10 rakeback today and hopefully my first $100 goal!

Didn't play a lot today since I had a lot of things to do but still grinded for 1 hour and made a small profit of $5, looking forward to reach my goal tomorrow!!!

DAY 9 BIG UPDATE

First is first, I got to say that I have officially reached my first milestone!

The second big thing is that I'm moving over to CG because I personally and others on this forum say that CG are the way to go for the future, SNG's are capped.

I decided to play 5NL zoom yesterday and managed to make 3 bi's in 1 hour, therefore my bankroll is at 105.5 atm.

My first thoughts on cash games are that they can be very exploitable especially at these stakes, plenty of fish in the sea.

Stay tuned as I will be grinding 5NL hard until I manage to get my bankroll $350.

My thought process, I 3b pre because I don't like playing small pocket pairs OOP without being the aggressor, also, this guy was playing pretty loose. On the flop I like my bet sizing because I allow AK's, AQ's, AJ's to float one bet. My plan on the turn was to check-raise but once he checked I just knew for sure he had AK, my biggest mistake in this hand was when the A came that I didn't bet at least full pot.

Honestly I think that I got the most out of this hand and my check on the river was to induce a bluff since I had a read that he doesn't have a club the way he played so if I bet river he just folds.

DAY 10

Very rough day for me, probably the toughest ever. Got coolered KK's v AA's 3 times and sucked out AA's v KK's, we ran it twice and lost AA twice^^.
Looking forward for tomorrow, today was definitely not my day, stuck $13.

The 3bet with 66 is thin. Even against a aggressive opponent that’s raising from UTG, But the rest looks fine to me. Good luck with overcome the coolers today

DAY 11

Had a terrible session yesterday at 5NL therefore I moved down to 2NL until I get at least 35 BI for 5NL, bankroll is at $55.

DAY 12 AND 13

Pretty much a fresh start from NL2, working my way up slowly.
I am very motivated now that I found some of my leaks, also I had a lot of negative variance even though I wasn't playing very well.

Here are my results at NL2 so far, small sample so not going to know if I'm playing bad according to results.

Any thoughts about these hands ? I think that the J 10 shove was a mistake, probably raising smaller would've made more money in the long run because I don't see them calling a shove with AJ or a draw so pretty much I'm bluffing in that spot, terrible play by me imo.

i dont think that was a mistake i would played it like you ... in NL 2 there are lots of fish who call a shove with Top Pair

DAY 14

Quick update guys, here are yesterdays results, finally crushing this shitty stake.

DAY 15 AND 16

So, I decided to take some shots at 5NL and went pretty well, I'm going to grind only 5NL on day 17 hopefully reaching a new bankroll peak.

Sorry about that, here are my results. Bankroll is at $101 now!

DAY 17

I had a lot of swings today, in my first session I was up 4 bi's after 30 minutes and after a few coolers I was even.
My second session was ok'ish, got it in KK's against AA's twice but still made a profit of $9 that session.

So my bankroll is at $108, my strategy is to make 40 bi's at current stake and use the rest of the money for shots until I move up or move down again.
