I would rather stick needles to my eyes than fold this hand

how about UTG playing AA or KK in that way . No way im folding its a 2$ sit, the curiosity kills me  :P

I call that in cashgame, but in tournament/sng i fold that quite easly.

Hi all,

Easy call nice hand well played.

I disagree here, if he is a fish then you are most likely (i'm willing to risk and say 75% of time) facing AA/KK/QQ/JJ/AK/AQ against which you are mostly dog (notice, you are favorite only against AQ/JJ, 50% vs AK, split vs QQ and loosing bad vs AA/KK) and assuming you are better player (which you should after reading articles here), then there is no point in flipping your life (this is pretty much a flipcoin if you count all factors in) where you can peacfully wait for better spot.

I could make that call but only with some resonable reads, not on unknown player.

ofc he's a fish?

I see junk hands here SO often I'm more then willing to risk it :)

How often you see allin with them with so big stacks from THAT certain fish ? If he did that earlier with trash, this is important read he should have mentioned, if he didn't - then you don't know.
Look at it mathematical way, let's say that you got 50% of doubling up here (realistic one).
So 50% of time you double up and your chances to get win that sng raise from around 12 to 25% (based on chip stacks) which is nice but will most likely be not enought to get in the cash.
On the other hand if you loose here, your chances to win that SNG jump off the cliff since you busted.
So you risk all your chances to win, to gain not that much of advantage, i wouldn't call that good risk:reward ratio (this concept was nicely explained by sklansky).

I dont think you understand what I mean with "junk"

I mean I'm 4-1 or 3-1 favourite here more often then not. If you only had 50% chance to win this hand it would be a ovbious fold.

lol.
If he is a fish than you can expect everything but AA or KK.

I think you guys dare me to grab PT and count how many times fish pushed AA/KK like that, and how many times he did it with trash ;p

I double dare you!

Dare taken
Out of sample 17 hands (didn't bother to find more) 11 of them were AA/KK/AK and one QQ, rest was (suited) junk. Mind that this junk will also crack your big pair from time to time and this doesnt look like too good call.
