Hi Guys,
What is considered a good win-rate when playing BSS NL10 at Mansion?
I see some number like 3.5BB/100 but what does it mean?
That you should be happy with winning 3.5 times the Big Blind after playing 100 hands?
Please enlighten me!

Yup, that's exactly what it means. Anything from 1-5 bb/100 hands is a good rate to be at especially if you have rakeback.
At NL10 I would expect at least 5 BB/100, because opponents are soo bad most of the time. At the moment I have myself 14.80 BB/100, but I expect it to shrink a bit, as my $EV is lower than my profit there :).
I'm doing 14BB/Hundred at this limit as well, what do you mean that your $EV is lower than profit?
Cheers
It means, that I won more that I will in a long run. If you win 3 coinflips in a row, your profit from those 3 coinflips is bigger than it should be, because if it is (lets say) exact coinflip, you should win only half of them.
So it means I won more than a fair share of all-in situations :).

But BB is not BigBlind its Big Bet ... so 3.5 BB = 7 Bigblinds
no... BB = big blind
PTBB= 2 big blinds ![]()
I'd say around 10 big blinds / 100 hands should be doable? Ipoker is famous for its nits and shortstackers though, so it might be a bit high.

Thanx..........does Elephant for example give you this info, or how do you work it out your EV?
I'm using holde manager that is providing "All-in EV Adjusted $" statistics. It basically represents my fair share of the all-in pot based on the winning odds of my hand against opponents.
I guess it depends where you are playing. At Mansion I would not be suprised if 3.5 was considered a good winrate, since Mansion is rock garden.

You are right..........i make more on Stars (shooting fish in a barrel) than on Titan, but Elephant does not work on Stars for me, so I play Titan cos I'm tracked there by PS and can see my stats on Elephant.
Hi
Nl10 SH win rate for me (sample size 19659 hands) is 4.57 BB/100 on stars.
Higher is achievable since I had a downswing because of some errors, variance and tilt of 6BI over 2 days.
Thanks guys for your replies.
I am surprised by the very low numbers you give me.
Over the last 10 days, I am up by +$87, playing NL10 BSS.
That makes +870BB. Unfortunately I dont how to retrieve the number of hands I played.
@tytyty2121
The numbers are not indeed low.The players are talking about a large enough number of hands.
I have no idea how many tables and how many hours you played during the last 10 days, but its never a long enough period to determine your true winrate, as its so variance heavy.I would say a true winrate can be determined after at least 100-150k hands at a certain limit. And thats a lot of hands for most of the players, and hopefully you wont even be playing NL10 that long.So dont worry about your winrate, play your game, post your hands for evauation, join coachings and think about a poker software to track your hands.
Good luck!
Thanks for the reply.
Do you have any suggestion for a good free software to extract my hands and also follow the stats of the other players?
Well, Pokerstrategy offers "elephant" - its free during a month, then, if you have made 1000 strategy points, they give you the license for free also.
Alternatives are Poker tracker/Holdem Manager, which also have 1 month trials and then you can buy/pirate them ♦.
I did not know that elephant was free at first. I thought you had to accumulate 1000 points to be able to use it.
I will look deeper into this.
Thx
Elephant is completely free for as long as you want it - there are just some advanced functions you cannot use until you earn 1,000 strategy points.
There is no time limit to keep using it for free as far as I know.
Hi alternativly you can also download pocker tracker 3. They give 60 day trial I think. That is enough to get the 1000 points needed for elephant
Or just stick to PT3, because lets be honest, PT > elephant.
And 1-4bb/100 is quite good steady winrate.
If you expected instant heavy winning (ie. 40bb/100) then sorry to dissapoint you, but cash games are more like grind.
If you like the thrill of big wins, try tounraments. Altho they won't give you more $/hr, u will get that OOMPH prize from time to time ;p
