Hi all,
I've ran some simulations on this hand but I still wanted to post it here anyway. I had seen some previous information that turned paired boards are sometimes surprisingly good cards to cbet the turn on in such a 3bet scenario SB vs BTN with a hand like AK and a backdoor flushdraw. However I think that board was more of a Q high board with a turned Q. I'm not really sure on my memory. In any case I think the turn should be more of a check fold but it still may be possible to cbet the turn anyway like how I did.
The player is roughly unknown and I pretty much use a half pot sizing in such scenarios most of the time. My flop cbet range is very wide here and I expect him to fold about 30-40% and I can barrel about 16 turn cards. I thought it would be more than half of turn cards but a turned 5 6 or 9 is apparently not so good to cbet on since I probably only have about 20% fold equity on the turn now.
What do you think?
