Ugh what a nasty hand the one with the KKs deepstack...

I think you should've maybe avoided the 4bet, except if the BU was a fish. Maybe because of the stack sizes BB calls QQ... I don't know.
Well yeah, now that I think again, 4betting is not bad! But then it was an easy fold to his 5bet

Yeah I completely agree with you, if we think about it the player is not really going to 5bet QQ, AK there more likely to call, especially higher then average players

4) Play ABC poker - Complete
5) Don't cbet bluff CS, LAGS and loose passive players - Failed

Revising goals for this week

1) Revise 10-15 minutes before each session on player analysis, all this week -

Results

How well I played

Although I lost $94 I still don't think I played that badly, there was a mistake in the way I was analysing a player type, not my actual play so in theory I was playing correctly.

Tilt control

i didn't control tilt so well, when i was getting beat quite badly by this certain player, it was making me thrustrated because i was losing a lot, and i didn't know why, but i do now and hopefully i will not get thrustrated and make some extra bad plays, i need to think when emotions kick in and why they are kicking in.

Focus level

I was pretty focused and much less distracted by the cashier

Evaluation

Area's I need to improve

1) The average range of a Loose passive and playing vs them
2) The average range of a CS and playing vs them
3) Player type analysis
4) Playing drawing hands
5) Squeezed pot

Improvements to my weakness's

I seemed to have made some improvements in player analysis, squeezed pots and playing drawing hands, im not as spewy as before playing drawing hands, i think a little bit more in squeezed pots and i have just recognised a mistake in player analysis.

Analysis

After analysis i have noticed some mistakes on player type analysis so would like to revise in that area a little before each session

My weak area's

2) The average range of a CS and playing vs them
3) Player type analysis
4) Playing drawing hands
5) Squeezed pot
6) MW pots
7) Playing vs loose 3betters - I think this is my weakest area

Improvements to my weakness's

I started to 4bet more frequently vs 3betters witch seemed to work ok, and seemed to put a stop to 3betters, although 1 player shoved me twice, maybe I should focus on 4betting players like this for value in future, also I think I was slightly loose on the 4bets

Analysis of last session

I need to work on letting bluffs go after the flop
I need to work on playing vs 3betters
i need some work on MW 3bet pots
(im hoping by just writing these down it will help me think more when i encounter these spots)

Tough spots, and interesting hands

ok so I have selected 2 particular spots here for review I feel I am making a mistake here that's costing me a stack.

Hand 1 - I have JJ on a 7-6-7ss board mw in a 3bet pot, I have initiative, so my first question is looking at the hand and the board, how many streets of value do I want? second question - if I bet here I don't really gather any information that anyone has a 7x hand, where as if I check and everyone checks back I can assume im ahead most of the time and then start betting for value on the turn and river collecting my 1-2 bets and avoid losing whats going to be a stack?

I would love some advice on this hand and do you agree with me?

Hand 2 - ok so I have 33 on this mega wet board of 6-3-4ss, I plan for a check raise, witch looking over it is a huge mistake to being pot committed to call his river bet when draw completes, 3 reasons for leading with a donk 1 - if villain has any value hand or draw he might raise this flop, in witch case I can just shove instead of being pot committed by the river, 2 - if he doesn't raise we can still extract value from his entire range where as if we check raise he may fold some OPs. 3 - we can bet flop bet turn and bet/fold river without being potcomitted to make a bad river call

Do you agree? I would also love some feedback on this hand too

Ok so recently my play seems to be all over the shop, i think i may know why, im trying to look for to many area's to exploit, when all i really need to do is be patient wait and it will come, so ive changed 1 of my goals to play my standard game (witch has done me pretty good so far when i actually do it lol) and not be too exploitive, i will only try to make exploits when it feels 100% right. feeling good about my next session :f_thumbsup:

I have been tilting a lot recently and im pretty sure it is accumulated tilt, and i think i know why, if we take a look at the graph, there was a huge spike downwards, witch was me playing while i was really ill, i lost like $100 mainly through stupid calls and i am tilting because of this, hopefully now i know why i can fix this, and never play again when im ill i will try to remember this. also i have been multi tabling a lot recently, and i don't think i am good enough to, im pretty sure its tilting me, so i am reverting back to 1 table and have set myself some new session goals.

I hope this helps me get back on track.

Ok, so my approach to fixing my weakness's hasn't been working as well as i hoped it would, im still making some silly mistakes, I have been reading a little bit more of "The Mental Game of Poker" and would like to try out this for a few weeks and see how it goes.

Let me start by saying this has taken me about 5 hours to do :f_zZz:, i have analysed the last 3 weeks of play, and wrote down all the mistakes i can see, i have categorized them in order of severity, Bgame being the least and Fgame being the worst (obviously :f_biggrin:). now i have a clear idea of how im actually playing. My plan now is to start from the back end like inchworm suggests, I will try not to make any mistakes in my Fgame until that is eliminated, then move on to Egame until that is eliminated, you see where im going with this. once i feel i have Fixed all the mistakes in Fgame i will remove it from this list, if i make one of them mistakes again i will just add Fgame back with that 1 mistake i made since it cannot be eliminated from my game. I will aslo change my session goals here they are:

1 - Try not to make any Fgame mistakes
2 - don't look at cashier while playing, because its a distraction

I will always aim to play my Agame but its harder to do this then you might think, so im not going to have it as a goal, but if i do manage to play my Agame i will make sure i feel good about it.

Results

How well I played

After making some 4bet bluffs vs agro bad player and unknown its clear I was playing my Egame, wow this really shows how badly I was playing I thought I was playing good too, I have a lot of work to do if i want to eliminate my F, E, D and Cgames

Tilt control

Really good even though I lose 2 huge pots

Focus level

I was pretty focussed this session, although I did look at the cashier about 3 times

Evaluation

My weak area's

Improvements to my weakness's

I didn't see any improvements, but there is a lot to take in here, maybe after a few weeks i will get the gist of this a little better and start eliminating these weakness's for good!

Tough spots, and interesting hands

Hey Craig,
I like the idea of making improvements in your worst plays as first. I guess that it takes a lot of time before seeing the results. I'm going to start playing poker today on another poker room. So I'm curious if the players pool is going to be worse there. Everyone says, 'The players on PokerStars are the toughest.'

Yes I think I believed id write this list down and think I wont make any of these mistakes right away :f_biggrin:. Yes I agree I think pokerstars has some of the best players, but it also has some of the worst :f_drink:, anyway goodlook on your new site, ive been thinking about dropping my game back to NL5 because I seem to be beating that limit with a good winrate, at least until these mistakes are fixed for good, ill try a few more session at NL10 first.

How well I played

After making this play it was clear I was playing my Fgame, so I decided im going to do everything possible to make it better then my last Fgame, the results from this session suggest I didn't do so great, but im not fooled by this I was on a downswing and I will post hands to remind me, even though I lost $40 I really showed an improvement on the second session trying this out, im looking forward to the next few sessions :f_thumbsup:
