If I'm not mistaken these are simply winner-takes-all. In that case just enter 100% first, or use ChipEV.

it's cEV, no ICM payouts needed

If I don't insert any prizes, it doesn't allow me to press ''Next''...

For ChipEV please simply enter anything valid in the prizes fields. (The dialog currently doesn't allow you to continue otherwise, even if the payouts are not used for ChipEV. We'll get this fixed.)

Hello,

Is there a HRC update coming out soon?
A while ago I wrote you an email about issue I have with PKR - after copy/pasting the hand into HRC it pastes the stacks after the hand instead of at the begginning of the hand.
Another thing I noticed today is when I tried to calculate ranges for satellite ; couple of hands seem incredibly wrong. F. e.im the big stack ~20k both other players have same stack of ~ 7 k blinds are at 400/800. In the basic hand it shows that I have a shoving range of 0% and in an advanced setup I shall be opening only 0,5% - AA. There were other hands that seem really weird 3 handed with 2 paid.

Are you using the Beta? I believe that PKR problem you sent me was fixed mid September:
http://www.holdemresources.net/h/products/hrc/changelog.html

(Click on one of the [Beta] links in the list for update instructions.)

Can't really comment on the example, most likely the players behind just get it in so frequently that folding and having one of them bust is better than stealing the blinds. But feel free to upload the hand using "Hand: Share Hand" if you have a question about a specific spot.

Yes, I am using Beta, no updates are found, but the issue still exists.

Ok. If I see something weird in satellties further on I will do that.

Ah, I just checked.

I actually made the fix to your PKR problem on Sept 28th and we haven't put up a new update after that. So yes, this will be included in the next update.

Blinds 100-50, ante 10, structure 65-35.

Bu 200 chips, Sb 400 chips, BB 2400 chips. With FGS 6 Bu shove range is 10,3%.
Bu 250 chips, Sb 450 chips, BB 2300 chips. With FGS 6 Bu shove range is 39,1%.
Can someone please explain such huge difference in bu shove range?

Please check the last page, we were going over a few very similar examples from another user there.

In this specific case the 50 extra chips for the SB may make a bunch of difference. With the large depth you used it would require a ton of time to work out the relevant scenarios "by hand" to understand the reasoning. If you want to analyze it in detail, simply reconstruct the stack sizes for the most common scenarios in the next hand and calculate these with FGS-5 to get an idea what ranges HRC used in the next simulated round, and then proceed with FGS-4 to the next round etc.

Hi,

The most common source of problems is mixing 32bit<->64bit architectures of Java Runtime and HRC. Unfortunately some recent Java auto-updates seem to switch between 32bit and 64bit installations. Please make sure that HRC and your Java Runtime use the same architecture, both 32bit or 64bit, not mixed.

You can manually install the missing Java Runtime from here:
http://www.oracle.com/technetwork/java/javase/downloads/jre8-downloads-2133155.html

Use either the jre-8u**-windows-i586.exe (32 bit) or jre-8u**-windows-x64.exe (64 bit). Alternatively you can switch the HRC version from 32bit<->64bit.

Let me know if you still have troubles.

That error means that JRE and HRC architectures don't match, please see my last post and double check that both use the same architecture.

Ah, this may be related to the installation directory name then. I believe the "RST##" part may throw off the launcher under Windows. Can you please try to re-install in a different directory, e.g.: C:\Poker\HRC (*not* in C:\Program Files\* though, HRC needs write access for the updates).

Hi

I wanna figure out what hands to isolate shove. If i set sb limps x% i get an ev chart for bb iso shove in chip ev-s. it is compared to a checkback with 100% eq realization against the sb limp range??

thanks for the help im new in tournaments :)

Is there any way, to set other eq realization or i have to do the math by myself? :)

This actually depends on the version you are using. In the normal stable version the equities displayed are compared to a checkback with 100% checkdowns postflop. In the Beta version you see both the check and the raising range and both are displayed in comparison to a fold.

There is currently no way to customize the eq realization, no. But using the numbers from the Beta the math is pretty straightforward. We will be looking into this for one of the next version though.

Thank you for the fast answer :)

Im using the "normal version" but i will try out the beta.
So in normal when i set a situation when i allow fold ol 3betshove it is still compared to a call raise with 100% checkdown? :) Am i right? or this situation it is compared to a fold? :)
