SH Rush No-cbet vs Regular

I think that flop is pretty good to cbet. Turn changes pretty much nothing so that would be good to barrel again and get folds.

We should attack Axx Kxx boards frequently.

I think we should attack with air when we have fold equity, in this spot his range hits very much.

If i take out third pairs we have enough fold equity.

Do you think he will call 55 or 66 vs a cbet on flop?

Definitely a cbet here - we have a hand that we can actually represent here. We can also improve on turn (GSSD, pair) and we can barrel some other cards to make him fold a weaker pair.

If you check this flop, you have to check turn or bet turn/river as nothing changes. The line you took is the weakest possible here IMO and you are just donating money here by doing this.

I thought about that too. If we x flop bet turn then we should bet river too on low cards.

I'm not sure that is the correct range for the villain here. For one thing you assume he has a non-polarised 3bet range (i.e. you imply he will 3bet with {88+, AQo+, ATs+}) which certainly will not always be the case. For another, I really don't expect villain to call with a hand as weak as K9o. I think he has lot more speculative hands (SCs, weak suited aces) here and not so many broadways.

Any way, the problem with checking the flop is that villain would expect you to bet with Kx. So when you then bet that turn, it looks like what it is, an attempt to steal the pot (or at best a semi-bluff with a draw). I guess as played you have to bet the river or you make your position transparent and villain can easily find a bluff with air, but you can't feel good about it.

I agree with the others about the hand but I think the most important thing here that should be pointed out is your thought process. If you think he has a SD-value hand or trash then betting once (and trying to steal the pot) makes no sense at all. His SD-value hands will never fold to one bet and if he has trash then you check it down and win with your A-high.

I am wondering what would do you do with TT in the exact spot?

With TT you can bet turn for value and then x/f river. I expect villain to call his pairs on turn and then check back river so we can comfortably check/fold it.
