So I move back to Regular tables and... I manage to run above EV...

WHY DO I EVEN PLAY ZOOM!? It's so cursed for me!

Bankroll now at $6,600. Slowly moving but at least it's moving in the right direction.

I'll wait to $10k to add 200nl tables.

Hi,

how many tables do you play ?

It varies from 6 to 12 tables. I prefer to stick with 6 tabling though. Sometimes I just have to play 12 because tables are good. :)

Haven't had a chance to grind lately...

First session back...

Lesson #1, do NOT steal BSB's blind. I 3b 33% in this spot and this is how they adjust.

People just adjust the wrong way vs me. :D

I guess 12% 3b is too wide. :D

Thinking outside the box. I think I took 4bi's from this reg this session.

Same villian. Running hot! :) Tilted him so badly.

Nobody ever believes me.

Since Party Poker and soon Pokerstars will be moving to HUDless play... I get a lot of questions from my students asking what the future will be without HUDs...

I am starting to play Anonymous tables only in which you are not allowed to use HUD's.

I will update and this will still be part of my challenge.

As you can see my game changes a lot. I cannot exploit people as much but this is my adjustment so far and you can see the redline is levelling off. I'll play another 10k hands and report how this will affect our play. I've never played without a HUD for years. My students all know how much I work with the HUD and this will ease off their concerns if I can win without a HUD then they won't have a problem as well! :)

As far as I know PT4 is working on anonymous tables, showing the session stats only.

I tried PT4 and it does work. Only problem is I have no idea how to use it. :) If anyone wants to give a lending hand that would be great!

As long as EV goes up, we're happy!

HUDless play is actually probably going to benefit more aggressive players imo. It's much harder for people to put you on ranges especially when you 3b 19%. :D

I guess it takes some time to figure out what people are doing. Seems like the regs bluff sizes are a lot smaller since they assume people don't 4b bluff as much so they 3b/fold a lot. I'm probably 4b like 20% ranges and getting away with it nicely. People aren't bluff catching AQ on 682 boards in 4b pots enough.

Here's a pretty sick hand for all of you to think about...

We need 26% to make the call. Call? Fold? Villian is a reg as far as we know. HUDless as you guys know.

Interesting hand. In that spot, we pretty much have a bluff catcher. I guess he could show up with KdJd, KdQd, AdKd, AdQd, AdJd, and also KhQh, KhJh, KhTh, that's 8 combos, and 3 combos of TT, 3 of AA and 1 of 88, meaning 7 combos that beat us.

But then on the turn, bet/calling a draw with 2:1 seems -EV... even though you've shown a lot of strength, it's so obvious when a flush hits, that I guess many players will fold sets and so he can't expect to get paid so often... so the question is how often does he really get to the river with a draw? And then how often does he actually bluff the busted draw when you showed lot of strength? He'd have to play his draws like that something like 35% of the time for us to break even.

And I forgot to consider the possibility of him having A8, although I guess it's unlikely since he's raising UTG pre-flop. And there's also some combos of T8s, but then it's the same situation as A8...

So, considering all this I actually think this could be a hero fold... Pretty sick though. Did you call?

One of my students who came to me in May to get help. He was grinding 10nl at the time. He sent me a graph that I'm very happy with which will make my weekend great!

SatishVasoya of pokerstrategy has made some big strides!

It's not a crazy graph or anything but to see someone go from 10NL slightly break even to someone who's grinding 100NL consistently and winning makes ya very happy!

I don't think huds matter much. You'll still be able to exploit the player pool.

I play without a hud often and do pretty much the same as with one, playing super passively compared to what's going on here :f_drink:. Only real loss for me is maybe a winrate hit against fish and nits.

I'd sigh call the 22 hand.
