Well yea that is one way to think about it. But at this stage money doesn't matter to me so much and my bankroll is only telling me how well I'm doing on the tables. Unfortunately I can't deposit that book to pokerstars so I could see it in my bankroll

My bankroll is shit and I have lost overall so much my head hurts when I think about it. I have been playing NL2 zoom recently and have played arund 80k hands. My winrate is 4bb/100. It is positive but not as big as I would want it to be.

I want to win my $200 lifetime loses back but I can't do it with NL2. I have to win $40 to go back to NL5. You see why I'm tilted?

Chasing losses is not a good idea!! What is gone is gone .... just do the best you can now.....

Thanks for your support! I lost some $$ this week and now I'm back in square one. Funny is that all of my loses this week came from my NL5 shots. Managed to lose 6 buy-ins at NL5. I don't think the skill gap is big there and I have played NL10 at some point so it was just bad luck and bad concentration during the sessions? Anyway here is my results of this week:

NL2 is going well. I have to adjust my game a little bit more to get my winrate higher as it is around 3bb/100 atm. Positional stats and winrates are looking good. The biggest problem is still that I like to call too much. I got my Mental Game of Poker 2 and will start reading it soon. I hope it helps. This weeks volume is a bit smaller because I have exams coming up next week.

I don't know what happened. I might have tilted a bit and called a couple of times in a spot where I should have folded but overall I felt calm and capable of playing well. I seriously do not know how this happened but I don't like it.. I wasn't spewing much. Is it possible that someone loses 10 buy-ins in 2k hands just because of variance? =D

Update: Now I'm officially tilting. I played 1.3k hands more and lost 18$ again. I have lost $40 this week in 2 fucking days. My bankroll is $50, it was $120 a few weeks ago..

I don't fucking understand how this happens.. I started a session and the beginning was fine, I felt good. Then I lost and lost again and suddenly I was -6$ down.. I kept on playing because I felt ok and thought that I don't need to have a brake. I have played 75k hands at NL2 and my winrate dropped from 3bb/100 to 0.3bb/100 in one fucking day. I didn't get sets with my pocket pairs, I had trash hands and when I flopped a straight for example with 78 in 456 board that fucking villain had 78 too -.-.. According to HEM in my 1.3k hand session I had AA,KK,QQ,JJ and AQs less often than expected frequency. Also most $ lost hands are AA,KK,QQ,AKo,AKs... Fun

I wan't to buy a motorbike with my poker winnings but it doesn't seem realistic right now..

I'll end this rage post by stating that pokerstars is rigged and full of bots and cheaters who can see my hole cards.. Thank you.

This sounds to be a bit of a recurring theme - it sounds like your biggest challenge is not to improve your poker skills, but rather to improve your mindset when its not going well (when you experience "normal" poker variance). I cant help much (because I view being unemotional and detached as one of my poker strengths ... and life failings) but really think that you need to focus on this....

I'm aware of this problem. However this time was a bit different.. I felt pretty good even after my first session where I lost almost 10 buy-ins. I didn't tilt after a bad beat. I have never smashed things or gone completely crazy. This shitty feeling hit me after I decided to close the tables because I don't understand what went wrong. Obviously at the end of the session I did some stupid things but still.. This was just unbelievable. I lost 2000 big blinds in almost 4k hands and it is the biggest losing day for me BB-wise. Can that be normal variance? I have exams coming up and I was a bit tired, maybe my brain didn't work 100% even though I felt very good at the time.

This week was not so good but next week will be better, I know it. Reading Mental Game of Poker 2 has helped me a bit. I'm now more concentrating on playing my best game and I try not to be so result oriented.

I'm moving house soon (hopefully!!), so I think there's a good chance I'll be internetless for a period - so I've been hanging off starting a new challenge until I'm moved and settled ..... but I wish I hadn't - if I'd started a new challenge, from about $15 to $1,000, I'd have done it even quicker than my last challenge!! I've switched games to the Spins, with a surprisingly large amount of success.... so my next challenge, probably in the new year, will probably revolve around Spins....
