I've been back in Germany for a couple of days, hopefully I get re-adjusted soon because I have been insanely tired for days! I'm hoping to get into a good routine again in the next weeks but sadly I also have to study for an exam but hopfully I'll find a way to get everything done :f_thumbsup:

I'd like to request, and at the same time, wish everyone here nice HOLIDAYS!

Regeneration is really important and while I have some off-table things to do related to poker, playing etc will be kept to a minimum over Christmas and New years, as I also have to keep studying for my last exam on Jan 9th! So from me to all of you, thanks for a great year! Let's make 2016 even better!

Hello all my lovlies! :f_love:

A new year has begun... Quite glad, because 2015 was one of the worst years for me, on a personal level. No need to go into any details, I'm still recovering but I find I'm making progress. Anyways I hope you've all had wonderful holidays filled with food, nice company and relaxation!

I have to study a LOT for my exam on the 9th, I may or may not have slacked a bit behind during the holidays... :f_rolleyes: Still, I think I will try to fit in some time for poker daily because I just love promotions and Pokerstars has a nice one where you get between $1-$10.000 instant cash if you complete these 3 tasks. Oooo I'm suck a sucker for things like that :f_biggrin: I completed today's tasks and got $2.50 hihi :f_love: It's not a lot of $$ ofc but just completing these little tasks and recieving a reward triggers happyness in the brain, plus it's nice to get in some more hands for this challenge as well! :f_thumbsup:

I wish everyone a fabulous weekend and a fantastic start to the new year! Here's to making it a better one than 2015! :f_drink:

Today I completed the challenges in one session! :f_thumbsup: which is good because I made some pretty undisciplined plays, nothing major but still the sort of signs that it's time to take a break and regenerate. Got another $2.50. Was hoping for $10.000 but oh well  Maybe some other day! ;) Time to hit the books again!

January Cash Game Quests

Total won: +$5.00 (2 days)

Will update the week's result tomorrow after I completed the daily challenges! :f_love:

Is anyone planning to do them? :)

I completed yesterdays challenge, for $2.50 - but it seemed to take forever..... will hopefully attempt todays later on...

I'm so ingrained with the quick thrill of Spins at the moment, that I'm finding it hard to keep concentration for anything else....

Study well :)

I'm doing them every day. Playing zoom so it's pretty easy. Got $1 twice and $2,5 once, but I'm sure that will get those $10.000 soon.

Thanks mate! Hehe, depends how many tables you play as well I guess! But playing CG only to complete the quests will also result in tristess imo :f_biggrin: at least if you're used to the spins ;) How are they coming along anyways? It would be interesting to see an active spin blog for the lower stakes!

Hahah. Stay away from it, the $10.000 is MINE! If there is more of them they're all mine too! :profit: You ran well enough in December promotions anyway ;) So you switched to zoom again? I thought you were trying out the regular tables? Saw you've been doing well lately, GJ! :)

Have to change things around today and study first, since it's more important right now. Yesterday I had such a terrible migrane in the evening that I couldn't get much done. Might have to skip playing today all together if I end up with a migrane again, hopfully won't happen but who knows. :)

Yeah, I just figured out that I enjoy zoom much more, so decided to stick to them for now. Also in one of the videos here Uri Peleg said something that I agree with - zoom is better for developing your default game and regular tables are better to exploit people. I guess my main concern atm is to develop my default game, to be able to exploit people afterwards, so will probably switch to regular tables at one point. I'm doing better lately, but I also decided to complettely change my attitude towards poker, so I post mainly good sessions and winning or funny hands and don't pay too much attention to bad beats. Watching successfull people here I figured out that if you want to be a winner, you have to think like a winner, so I'm working on it. :)

Good luck with chasing $10.000, and with everything else! :)

Thanks mate! Makes sense, if you love it, go for it! :)

Played a session during my study break, thought I'd at least do the first of three (win a hand with 99) but after 500 hands I have not even been dealt any 99 Not complaining that much though since i got dealt KK like 5x instead :profit:

Not wanting to brag or anything ... but I got 99 in my first hand :P

I cant get that darn flush though for the second mission :(

Are you activating the other missions? You can play towards both at the same time....

Ehm, in my Challenges window you need to complete them one by one, to "unlock" the next part... :f_frown:

Now knowing that the second part means hitting a flush however, I might not bother to try completing today's challenges. Hitting a flush doesn't occur THAT often, but we'll see once I feel I studied enough for today (if that even happens :D )

It is very depending on how much I have to do in other areas of life. At the moment, I'm studying for an exam, so not many hours a week for studying poker.

That challenge probably could explain Villain's though process!! :f_drink:

Yes - mines the same as yours Vonki :)

What I meant was, at the same time as doing the "Poker Cash Game Quests" you can be doing the "Pokerstars Giveaway"

How many hours a week do you spend checking the forum when you really should be studying for your exam? :P
