888 or PKR. 888 has a much better schedule. PKR have some really wacky structures.

Hi, I want to decide which poker room to get my free starting bankroll with pokerstrategy from. I already had an account on 888poker so undortunately that didnt work. I also read that pkr isnt very good, so im choosing between fulltilt and netbet.

Im a new player and am mostly interested in playing sngs and nl microstakes in the beginning. I just want to learn and slowly build my bankroll without making a deposit, can anyone giv me some pros and cons of these two rooms?

1. Which game type you play? HU SNGs

2. Which limit do you play? Micros. I'll start on $2 BI

3. Short handed or full ring tables, or even Heads-Up? HU

4. How much do you play? 20 hours/week

5. How many tables do you want to play? 1 or 2 tables.

6. What are your goals for the next 3+ months? Build up my bankroll to move up to $3.5 HUSNG.

7. What time zone are you in and what times do you play? GMT -3 but the times I play may vary depending on the room I choose.

8. Which rooms do you already hold accounts at? PS, FT, WillHill

I don't know if playing at PS is still a good idea with all the stuff going on recently. I'm coming back after 4 years away from poker and willing to deposit $100 to start again. I noticed I can acquire a $33 cash bonus on Titan Poker if I deposit there. I don't care about software from a multitable funcionality point of view once all I play is 1 or 2 table HUSNG. All I care about is the profit I can make so I'm not attached to major poker rooms. If there is a decent player base to make money from, that's good enough for me. I don't care how crapy the interface may be.

Unfortunately things have changed after Black Friday. New regs storming the tables, games have become much tighter and tougher. I wonder if it's the same for all rooms or is it only 888.

Each night before I go to sleep I pray the Lord for the legalization of online poker in USA. And I'm atheist!

Go figure.

Just wondered what your bankroll would have to be at this level and how long your sessions are as (eventually with a lot more knowledge and practice) this is where I would like to be.

Is there a poker room players from Estonia could join that can be tracked via Pokerstrategy?

I am planning on leaving anything A**** related for good. Haven't uninstalled Pokerstars yet, but likely will do so as soon as I find something even remotely reasonable in place of it.

Hi!
I am currently playing PartyPoker NL2 and NL4 SH, and I am very satisfied with the amount of fish in the sea. However I would like to try Pokerstars and clear the 1st deposit bonus.
I would like to play NL4 SH, around 40k hand/month, during regular night hours and saturdays.
1. Do you think I can clear the 600$ bonus with that volume?
2. What is the state of the limit compared to PP? I hope there are a lot of fish as well.
3. If you don't recommend PS, would you recommend FT or iPoker?

Thanks!

Peter

I will be able to get a better idea if you could answer the questions below:

1. Which game type you play? (No limit? Sit & Go? MTT? PLO, Fixed Limit, Other?)

2. Which limit do you play? (example: NL25, SNG $11, FL .50/1)

3. Short handed or full ring tables, or even Heads-Up?

4. How much do you play? (e.g. I play 3 hours a week, or I generate $1000 rake/month)

5. How many tables do you want to play?

6. What are your goals for the next 3+ months?

7. What time zone are you in and what times do you play?

8. Which rooms do you already hold accounts at?

----

The answers to those questions will help us help you!

I don't think there are very many sites at all as most (if not all) are blacklisted by the Greek government and are being blocked by local ISPs.

Hey blackops888,

I'll include some screenshots first:

24hBet (MPN)

888

FullTilt

As you already hold a WH account, you will be aware of the traffic as it is on the same network.

As you can see, there isn't a lot of traffic although HU and not playing many tables, you will probably find it adequate.

As far as FDB goes, MPN is superior with 200% FDB. They also offer 30% lifetime rakeback.

iPoker skins also offer a 200% FDB, so there is also that option of choosing Titan or another iPoker skin.

Regards

Laz

Hey Peter,

With PokerStars and Full Tilt, you can include up to 3 deposits in your 1st sixty days as your 1st deposit. So you can deposit a smaller amount first to gauge how much you can clear within the expiry period (You have four months after each qualifying deposit to earn all the VPPs needed to release your bonus).

Regards

Laz
