BB: $10.30 (103 bb)

Preflop: Hero is CO with 7 9

River: ($36.91) A (3 players, 3 are all-in)

Results:

Spoiler

$36.91 pot ($1.84 rake)
Final Board: 7 2 7 9 A
BB showed K K and lost (-$10.30 net)
Hero showed 7 9 and lost (-$13.28 net)
BTN showed 7 A and won $35.07 ($21.79 net)

Interesting hand where i am thinking to open or fold pre:
We open if we dont see aggressive guy in BU or SB or BB as we fold to 3bets.
In this case was as follows:
BU (2.5k hands) 3bets vs co 3%
!!! SB (20k hands) 3bets vs CO 14.6%
!!!? BB (412 hands) 3bets vs CO 9.5%

Do we consider this as bad spot to open as we see SB is quite 3bet happy and BB is on agg side but we cant really cut in stone hes 3B looseness just because he has only 412 hands?

Postflop is cooler imo because since we open and get minsqueezed where we call obviously because of odds and call squeezers shove as he might defend good hand against draws multiway where i see this quite often :f_cool:

If you fold 97s preflop fourhanded, then you are too tight to be allowed to win:D If 3-bet happy people are in the blinds, open smaller (2.5 bb) and call the 3-bet. They are in trouble, not you. You have position and they (by definition) have a weak range.

You should open your hand. Do you normally open for 3bb from CO? I use a smaller size which allows me to call comfortable vs aggro villains.

yes i open 3bb always :) and i like my hand as well so i almost always open 97s from here. I am folding sometimes when there are aggros after me. In this case there were some so it was questionable for me to open or not.

Try Yohan's advice and vs aggro villains behind, open for smaller( 2.5bb).
