That's actually a lot above the EV because I've had only 38 EV chips per tourney while masstabling $12s on this untamable software with no HUD, no table organisation script written and no time spent to drill into regs' tendencies, i.e. have been barely beating them pre-rakeback.

You see, I've come to a conclusion that disclosing my progress to peers makes me too result-oriented and too ashamed of myself. I really hate making mistakes, and even more so I hate talking about them.

I prefer to make guest posts in the blogs of fellow sharks like you, and I like giving insight there. So I'm a 'forum cuckoo' in a sense (lay eggs to others' nests), and it's advised to search for my posts on the entire forum from time to time if you'd like to get the idea of how I'm doing

I understand the difference between the purposes of 'Successes and Challenges' and 'Blogs' subforums - the former is intended for short sprint challenges. The Russian community has a 3-month limit for such challenges, otherwise they go to the blog section there.

This thread was intended to run for only a few weeks, but it got a bit overdue for a variety of reasons.

I'm glad that I've got the challenge off my chest, though

According to Head of VIP Team Matthew Hilger (the same man who once wrote a popular poker book),

There are two real money products in the nearer-term development pipeline. Neither of these products have a 'jackpot' element to them like you see in Spin&Gos. The first one is a mobile-only app. Details will likely be announced in the first quarter. The second one is within our regular client offering - this one will be announced likely towards the end of the year. Note that announcement doesn't mean launched worldwide. There will likely be a beta launch in certain markets and then a rollout plan to all players.

You will be able to play the new app and desktop at the same time and you will have one PokerStars balance that is good for both. One of the benefits of the app is that it is ideal for poker play while away from your desktop. The app is for iOS and Android phones only (no tablets).

PKR's CEO Chris Welch (see his LinkedIn profile), naturally, will be very secretive about the changes until they happen.

Here's what bits of info we've succeeded at fishing out of him:

- There will be a 'fairer' loyalty program (in recreationals' favour because it's well-known how Chris worships them*).
- Measures will be taken to boost the traffic dramatically (many players have speculated that it might be integration with another network, but nothing in this vein has been confirmed yet).
- He has confessed that he likes the idea of anonymous heads-up tables (though it's not known if the idea is to be implemented or just was under brief consideration). (Recall that heads-up cash tables above $0.25/0.50 were removed from PKR last autumn, already during his management.)
- The focus is on improving the 3D poker, as opposed to making the 2D mode of the poker client 'more grindable'.
- After the poker part of the innovation is done, the casino and sportsbook sides of the business will be also be improved dramatically. The casino part is already being marketed more aggressively than at the start of 2015.

* Mr Welch started his career path in the poker marketing industry by inventing the first (2006) version of Stars' VIP Club (incl. the infamous option to buy Porsche with FPPs), but also, he's notorious for implementing Protected Tables at partypoker in 2013, an initiative that covertly segregated big winners from fresh fish, created a black market where Eastern European regs were buying and taking over losing accounts to bumhunt at those restricted tables invisible to honest regs, and when that was discovered by players' community and it threatened a sitout strike, Chris Welch was fired from Party's Head of Poker position and the segregation was abolished. Hopefully he's learned the lesson.

Thanks (to you and the RNG) Tbh, if I were with a short stack at the end of a phase, I'd try to double up or bust fast, just to reduce the probability of having to wait for the final phase and alter my schedule to accomodate it

How long (minimum) does it take to play 25 €1 Twisters in a +EV fashion?

In TCOOP-01, ended up getting a $90 prize (that barely covered my afternoon Twister mini-downswing) after the blind growth and a lack of spots made my stack short and I caught a preflop cooler.
