Sorry for the lacking hand posting, however I do this from memory because I am playing without software at the moment. So no stats and the villain was new at my table 2-3orbits so I had no particular reads/notes on him

FL HE 0.05/0.10 Table 6max
Hero is BU with K:h Q:c

EP,MP fold, CO opens, Hero Raises, SB,BB fold.

Flop: 3:c 5:h Q:h
CO bet, Hero Raises, CO calls

Turn: K:d
CO checks, Hero bets, CO calls

River: 4:h
CO bets, Hero ??

My main question: What to do on the River?? Raise of call?
Secondary, what about the rest of the hand?

My thoughts during the hand:

Pre-Flop: Standard chart 3b

F: Almost Perfect flop. However villain donks, I want value and board is a bit drawy so I decide to raise the F instead of waiting for the T, especially because there are quite some FD in his range which he will not fold and could check the T with.
T: I improve my hand to (almost) the nuts. I bet villain calls so I think small PP? or FD?
R: River is kind a nasty. A2, 67 and all FD hit. Now villain donks which is a classic value line with a rivered monster, there is no way I will fold my T2P vs 1 bet so I have to decide between a raise or a call.

So what do you think? your opinion would be appreciated.

I am just calling river. You are a favorite if your river raise is called. The problem is that it will cost you 3 bets if you are beat. Few rational players bet-call a hand you can beat here. No such hand I can see matches his actions. What would it be?

(And yes, I am an FL player as well though you can see my ugly face all over the NL forums:D )

If I get a few answers I will post villains hand.

Guess his hand and we will see who was correct. His hand is kind of logical.

What he had is not even remotely interesting except for note-taking.

Without reads, the river is definitely a call, no question. Villains range should be fairly polarized, there's no point raising with a medium strength hand

Ok, thank you for the information. I was just a bit doubtful when playing, certainly after he showed 54.
Luckily I did the right thing :)

I said it on the Dutch forum as well, why would you take the risk and raise?
