I reckon he can have JJ-QQ maybe even TT in his range that he might want to go broke with or should I be afraid of 66, 44, 22?

He can have 66,44,22 but those hands are not that likely. 66 maybe but 44,22 are getting a bit too low. Those are still possible though.

The chance of him having TT+ is a lot bigger than him having a set here so going broke is the right option imo.

Pre could raise slightly bigger since you are out of position 3.5x 4x maybe?
OTF bet 3/4 pot to get the stacks in by the turn/river.
I'm always going broke here if you aren't going broke on this board then what board?
Villain has possible top range of 99-QQ AK & AQs.
If he has set its just a cooler. Can't be afraid here.
Out of curosity what did he have?

Villain is practically unknown. I do not know if he has low pairs but he can do this with 88-JJ.
We can stack off here.

i don't blame a fold. but if you decide to continue with the hand you are justified by theory obviously :f_biggrin:

This is one of those situations where I am willing to go broke.

Usually look away just after I've clicked the call button

Posted the hand just to be sure that the play is standard.

Take a note that villain calls 3bets wide with pocket pairs. This was just bad luck.

Well, 66 is possible, but still there are weaker handsin his range here.

If you were much deeper, you shouldn't reraise, but just call, because he'd fold what you wish he has.

Don't look for "standard" plays. Look for the best play.
