Will you 3b vs every player? Is this a standard 3b bluff hand for you?
You say QQ,JJ might miss the flop. You miss that even then he has a strong pair that will rarely fold to 1 cbet.
I am not sure you have odds to call the shove.

I'm using w34z3ls preflop ranges, against this midstack I was bit inclined to fold it pre.

It may be ok to 3b vs a full stack but as you said, vs a shortstack 3 betting this is not ok for me.

Shortstack can often go crazy so I would leave these clear 3bet bluffs and 3bet with merger range (AJo,KJo etc.. hands you would normally call) and fold these. I doubt that you get correct odds to call OTF and you are not drawing to the nuts. I think it would be better to fold.

I think you should. Villain has 88-QQ and some weaker Ax hands and KQ in his 3bet calling range too so your range hits this board even harder. That is if we assume villain has a 4bet range.

Look, you are the 3 bettor and this flop hits you better. So you should cbet this flop.

As played, the call seems ok, if he is going all in with his entire preflop-calling range.

Not even close. QQ-88 are not going AI. This is a suicide for them.

Actually none of those hands are going broke imo. 88-QQ would be suicide as you said. AJs+ not going broke except AK. KQs not happening.. Same with AQo. Imo QcJc is more likely to go broke than AJ.

Just remember that things will get better. Don't try to force yourself to win that money back. Just concentrate and play your A-game and your green line will get up eventually

The downswing has nothing to do with that. Keep pushing when ahead.

Don't play with somebody else's ranges if you don't understand how to play the range. Here you make two mistakes, first doing this versus midstack that may be pot-committed after raising once. Second mistake is to not consider the pot odds (they say fold and clearly so) when faced with a raise. Don't you think even a fish may beat your 7 high?

Good preflop ranges don't matter one wit compared to postflop play.
