Hero has the decision between...1) Bet small to get called by his whole range and induce a raise by 9x
2) Go for x/r AI (but let him go to showdown with all his middlepairs)
3) JamLet's discuss
![]()
Bet big or even shove OTR. Hero will be paid out from 9x or weaker overpair so betting big would be my choice. If villain has air he will fold even 1BB bet so no need for smallish bet. Hero could consider x/r if villain is aggressive OTR.
That's my 2 cents.
3)jam
once he calls Flop and Turn, he will never fold anymore. But the other question is, why do you Donklead the flop in a multiwaysituation? What is your plan if
a) both call flop
b) one folds, and one calls and you dont improve OTT
The reason for leading out is to mainly take the pot down on the flop and simultaneously protect my hand from any overcards to come. It doesn't make sense to me to check/call and put myself in a tough spot out of position.
If one calls I may bet again or give up (dependent on opponent and turncard). If both call I give up unless I improve.
Thanks for your answers. ![]()

In this spot we play vs. a reg and have the best bluffcatcher (top twopair) on the river. Two flushdraws are busting and he can still bet with QQ+ too. On the other hand two straight lay out there...
I think it's all about population reads here... what do your population reads about NL25 tell you about calling/folding to another riverbet? To people bluff enough/valuebet thinly enough to justify a call?
you can't even consider folding here. i believe on nl25 ppl generally underbluff when 3barreling, so you can overfold a bit, but JT has to be a call.
nice blog btw, keep it up!

It's a steal sitaution, villain could have everything in his range, from nut straight to air. W top 2 pair hand, I'm calling his value/bluff bet. NL25 isn't my limit, yet, so I didn't see to much 3barreling bluffs, people either give up OTT or OTR.
Call river, look at his bet sizes on every street and make valuable note.
It's close though.. generally people don't triple-barrel bluff. But yeah, if we fold JT here, we fold too much ![]()
Short Update
Worked quite a lot on my mindset the last days. Last month I fell back into old habits of automatism and mass-grinding that really fucked me over which made me really pissed in return. Therefore it's now on my daily schedule to put in a bit of work into that. Momentary mental C-Game flaws:
Entitlement Tilt when getting out-drawn - the bigger the pot and the weaker my opponent the more I feel like deserving the pot, no matter what --> bad calls, bad bluffs
Playing too fast
Next, the work with Asimos really pays off. Due to mindset-issues my Winrate on NL25 was horrible (like 3bb/100 on 80k hands), but he helped me fix the leaks in my game that required the most work:
Winning by opening the SB (I lost money in that spot before the coaching) using a simple but very effective strategy
Playing the EP better (Winrate Increase from 5bb/100 --> 15bb/100)
Improving my BB play when the SB opens
My Roll is now almost $1,4k. At $1,5k I will start shots on NL50 and also re-enroll for the Bankroll-Challenge for more motivation and validation when beating companions
Photography: Meanwhile I did a basic-course on how to use my mirror-reflex camera with all its components and make better pictures. I probably gotta take another course on picture-editing. But for now I gotta just practice with models. Hard to do if you live on a village and all your friends live in other cities. It's the best idea though because I don't feel confident enough to try making pictures from random people (my capabilities as a photographer are really not good yet ♦)
That's it for now... Btw what do you guys want to see?
More Hands to discuss?
Daily updates on my roll (make it rain on dem graphs)?
Life Updates on random stuff?
I wanna make this whole thing more interactive, so get on with your wishes
Cool! Let's get on with it... I found this hand from today very interesting and also difficult to decide on what to do on the turn.
Villain is unknown. Flopping trips I decide to just call his cbet to maximize value vs the Ax part of his range (don't expect to get called a lot if I raise here) - The flushdraw gets there on the turn. He makes this weird x/r to 2x my sizing. Obviously we are getting correct odds to call for a boat. But are our A-Outs clean? What about the rest? If we get it in on the river then only vs worst. That means we can call, but have to give up if we hit xdd. I have no freaking idea what to do in this situation

I would respect villains raise OTT. I don't think he would raise even completed FD bcs of paired board. So I believe he raises w higher Tx, he could have even AA, but I would call and evaluate river. Passive line better suits in this spot, no need for raise, call down decent bet OTR and make note.
Btw, why you didn't 3bet pre?

Hi!
I read your blog for a while. You made a very good video and I am pretty sure that you will reach your NL100 goal if you keep this sistematic approach.
Muchas Gracias!
Sorry for being late - Now up with the 2nd Day of my GIU-Challenge. Thought I'd take on some hands that make up good examples for some population reads.
hey MisterSnS, sorry to hear about your downswing. That must be very frustrating. Let's discuss in skype how we continue with the coaching + coaching for profits agreement, so we can go let your BR grow back! Please contact me again on Skype!
Blog looks promising. Good luck ! Will be following !
My 2 cents: check cashier and results in terms of winnings only 2x per month max ! Also turn off all bb/100 and netwon statistics in your tracking software.
Forget about money results. Focus on decisions. Focus on mistakes. Be scientists looking for mistakes and trying to fix them. Learning, studying and searching for fix.
Hey guys. No video for today. But it's going up again. Thanks for the advice, msnek. I will definitely take it to heart. Asimos, I will contact you.
