So I clicked on the banner here in PS that said I'd receive $88 upon registration to Poker888. I didn't believe that at all but I registered anyway. Now I even received an email from Poker888 confirming that I received the said amount but my bankroll there is nothing but $2. I'm pretty confident these $88 are some kind of deposit bonus and not a cash bonus but definitely they "sell" it as being a cash bonus. Insights?

No one will give you free money, there is always a catch..
Upon registration 888poker will reward you with $2 in cash and $6 in tournament tickets. In order to receive the remaining $80 of the free bonus package you have to clear further chunks of $2 cash + $6 tickets by collecting 250 Bonus Points each. Please note, you only have 14 days to clear the whole bonus package once you've claimed it.
It is not false advertising. The money is really free and you do not need to deposit. There is just a couple of conditions and they make you work for it. What you learn from this is when someone promises you something for free, you should always read the terms and conditions.

Please phone support and they will look into your account and explain it for you.
The phone numbers can be found in the poker cashier in the dropdown menu.
And thay said for every 250 status points another 8$ gift in tickets. I got that amount of status points but i cant see that reward :/ thats stupid ....

The next increment of $8 ($2 cash & $6 tickets) should be credited within 48 hours of reaching 250 points. If this hasn't happened, your best course of action would be to contact their support at support@888poker.com
