I would fold here. He seems to be a strange guy...completing the sb and check calling that board with his small wts. very Strange...

if I bet the turn, I would fold since the J sucks and we only beat a bluff in a small pot.

what do you think about a checkbehind on the turn?

- the J sucks
- a check raise would suck
- we don't have 2 Valuebets

Looking at this again I think it's a bet/fold on the turn.

It's a great board for a 2nd barrel semi bluff v this opponent and looking to get a free showdown which is why the villian's check/raise is so strong. We possibly get a better Tx to fold and I would expect any draw to just call here outside of monster draws so we get value from them.

First thoughts are the check behind is problematic because there just aren't many cards we will see that are blanks for a call on the river. I guess we get to showdown for the same value... perhaps that is a better answer?

I dont think that he check calls a T on the flop. Most opponents would bet it. He has such a small WTS and check calls that Flop...He gets very bad Odds there and still he calls...do u think he is trash calling there?

Its very hard to give him a Range there, since he should raise any K, hands like QJ,AQ,AJ preflop.

The Pot is very small, so protection is not that important.

Of course bet fold turn is an Option...but I don't think, that he plays a T that way.

what do u think he is calling the flop with? he gets 1:3 odds...not much. Maybe a flushdraw...

i still tend to bet the turn. we should give our opponent too much credit. i mean: he was open compelting from the SB... i don´t think he thinks about odds etc. too much
i can see him peeling a lot of hands here. hands like Q8s with bdfd etc. so i like a bet for a free showdown. J is an ugly card though (as you guys already said :))

TBH I'm guessing Ax, Qx, Jx, maybe T3o - T6o, 9x, FD more likely :diamond:but obviously possible or some monster draw combo - or he's one of these ridiculous limp AK / AQ / AA / KK PF nutters that I am constantly running into at the moment - at least a couple every session over the last 4-5 days.

I just don't know that I can give a free card to a draw - of which there are plenty. Probably should equilate this because its quite likely we don't have the equity to bet with so many draws possible - will try later... no time now!
