Yoyoyo,
I'm right now not doing a lot of hard theory stuff. Basically, I just watch some live-plays until I have Gold-Status again. Tables are pretty good, and I'm on a heater I guess. Will post the graph when the week has finished.
This time I will put my mindset to the top of the priority-list. During the 'off-period' I had some epiphanies that are helping me tremendously right now. Funny thing is, the sessions got better and better parallel to the degree of presence and awareness. Yesterday I watched some stuff from Eckhart Tolle where he talks about the ego, and evaluating situations and circumstances in life. In poker this is evaluating session-outcomes for instance. If you think "this was a good session" (because you won a lot of money) or "this was a very bad session" (because you maybe played poorly and dropped some stacks), the self-judgement mechanism turns on and emotions get involved in the whole thing. I'm not saying emotions are necessarily bad (you can use them to accelerate your learning-curve, or to gain extra-motivation to play brilliant during a session), but they are dangerous.
Mindset Goals
1) To not get discouraged by results anymore, and rather get motivated even moreo by being aware of the learning curve. Skill will decide if you make money or not, everything else doesn't matter.
2) To not evaluate my sessions, or playing days, with labels like "good" or "bad" in terms of results. I feel good about poker right now because I am playing well, and my opponents pay me off, but there are down-days as well, in which poker puts me to a test.
3) Hold to stop-loss of -4 Buy-In's and a Win-Stop of the same amount. Just to help my mindset stay calm for the beginning period until everything becomes subconscious, and therefore automatic.
Some Hands from today
I) So good. I had 54% on the flop
