TT y se le creo un monstruo desde el pre-flop
Being surprised means its either a very good hand or a hand that Hero did not expect Villain to play at all.
Since we only know that Villain is a calling station, not a nit, I would assume Villain shows aggression with good hands at some point.
With that said, I don't think a calling station calls with absolutely nothing. My guess is. Villain started with a gutshot and picked up a pair on Turn so he couldn't fold with a bad starting hand.
My guess is 8♦:4♥:
I think he has 55 and calls the Flop because he doesn't think HERO has a made hand. On Turn he calls because he can't lay down his Pocketpair with his OESD he made at turn.
Okay, after reading the information that Hero ist really surprised I would guess it would either be AA or 72o.
I go with the assumption that Villain has AA! He doesn't bet on any straight because he is a calling station and wants to go to showdown.
Q♠:8♠: Calling station calls with gutshot and backdoor FD and gets lucky obviously.
92o
He called with his gutshot on the flop and turn as some recreational player never fold to 2/3 pot bet with gutshot.
And, he simply gave up on the river as he missed everything.
Smth like A 5 , easy call flop, OESD on turn, not much left on river still some sd value.
With a fish-callingstation it can be everything. Especially from BB. So if you were really surprised I go for a really fishy hand, that this kind of player is able to play on BB: 72o.
He xcalls on the flop and turn with 2ndPair, he thinks he has made a nice hand.
Another possibility is that he has exactly the same hand T5o. That would be a big surprise at showdown. It is always funny if both players have the same hand. He xcalls twice with TP +OESD and that is quite possible.
But for this hand I choose: 72o.
I am going to go for Q♦:4♦: (could also be spades or offsuit, but I think we have to pick specific suits, right?)
Anyway, of course it could be anything, and my first thought was AA, but because of the heading "calling station at work" I thought it shoud be a weaker hand and this one has not been suggested yet . And it fits the requirements. Fish calls pre, calls flop for mysterious reasons, calls turn with bottom pair, checks river 2pair, Hero thinks yeah, I made some monies (Sklansky $), but what is ze fish doin´??
EDIT: I see it has just been suggested... albeit in the offsuit version
Villain is a Calling Station, he can be playing any 2 preflop (no preflop rank), the strange thing It's that hero was surprised with the showdown. If Villain won with a good hand, such as straight nuts 53o, TT, 77, 66 or any overpair preflop as AA, KK, QQ, even with AQs/o KQs/o or QJs/o, I really think the hero must not be surprised because a calling station is the kind of player being able not to reraise with a good hand and just calling and of course not donking in river even with the nuts. To surprise hero, the villain must lost the hand and with something strange, no clear draws and not A card high (a calling station can be playing just A card high in turn). The only stupid combo is 32, ¿32o?. Answer: 3♥:2♣:
