Hi guys! I usually fold QQ to 4bet because from my experience on NL2 full ring folks don't 4bet lightly and usually you see only AA and KK.
But this guy has really aggressive stats - 32/22 and 3bet 12. However his 4bet for 336 hands is 0.
Do you think it was nitty fold? How would you play this hand?

I never fold QQ in that spot (blind war) and against that kind of villain. Don't be result oriented. Easy 5bet.

Btw, 336 hands is not a significant sample. you need a couple thousand hands to rely in that stat at least.

If you have a read on the opponent, it is fine. The sample (336) is good.

However, the range of such an aggressive opponent sitting on the button should be weak and your QQ should be ahead.

If the guy 3bets that actively he should have bluff 4bet range too. I would never give up QQ in blind war.

Hi I think the fold is best but depending on your feeling a call is ok to see what the flop brings, I certainly would not allin preflop, from my experience I lost a stack recently going allin , in the same circumstances with QQ

Just today and yesterday I have seen villains go broke pre with AKo,JJ,AJo,33 etc poor hands.. This is blind war and I think it is impossible that this aggressive villain wouldn't have any 4bet bluffs.

Easy shove imo; and yeah you'll face AA KK from time to time but it's still ev+ on the long run.

Not blind-war, it is button vs blind, but this makes little difference. He's without reasonable doubts aggressive, so just shove.

You have a small candy but you are trying to steal your friends bigger candy VS you have no candy at all and you try to steal your friends candy.

Seems like the same thing to me :f_biggrin:

The stat of 4 bet is 0 because you have small sample. You can´t rely on 4 bet stat after 300 hands. I play same limits as you and I discovered that´s fine to call 4 bet with AK/QQ. Against this villain I think we can even shove, he seems fishy and aggro. Anyway, fold is too weak imo.

A few posts ago, you were "defending" from the BTN, now it is a blind war that involves the BTN...
When you are on the BTN, you can fold, nobody is forcing you to post blinds and go to war....

You are a real viking, no live games with you at the table :f_biggrin:

Well that hand where BTN faced a 3bet, I think when BTN steals and faces a re-steal he must have some kind of defence against those because blinds will 3bet (re-steal) wider than other positions will. I think having a non folding reaction against any 3bet could be called defending. If big guys bully you, you bully back :)

And in this hand, as I explained above, I still consider this a blind war when we are stealing and fighting for his blind. That might be wrong because blind war could be understood only blind vs blind.. I'm sorry about that. From now on I will use "blind steal situation" instead of that.
