What made you think overshove would be better than 30-50% pot? The Ace hits his river betting range, but probably he has alot of lower pairs when he checks the river that can call a small bet but fold vs such a big bet. Was it some kind of a read he may call with worse than an A, or did you just hope he hit the Ace?
@zyvy - that's not funny bro that's "brutal hand compilation"
@nsavov - it is definitely not a standard line but i have a note that the player bluffed catched me a couple of times, having that read i thought he likes to check river to bluff catch so i though it will be a good idea to go for a max value vs his 22, 6x and Ax hands. I was pretty sure he will fold any KK-TT hands but even with those hands a guy that likes to bluff catch might call some % of the time. Definitely not the best line but every now and then even without a read i overbet the river depending on the board.
