I was really surprised today at SD - that was a battle of the regs - one is zero based grinder, second is 2/100. But i was really surprise at SD, may be one of the watched w34zl Redline video series and decided to play like a star (SB), anyway, here is the hand

SB: $7.10 (142 bb)
BB: $5 (100 bb)
MP: $10.19 (203.8 bb)

BTN: $6.03 (120.6 bb)

Preflop: Hero is CO with 6♥: K♠:
MP raises to $0.15, 2 folds, SB calls $0.13, BB folds

Flop: ($0.35) J♦: 9♣: 9♥: (2 players)
SB bets $0.20, MP raises to $0.69, SB calls $0.49

Turn: ($1.73) 5♣: (2 players)
SB bets $1.05, MP calls $1.05

River: ($3.83) Q♦: (2 players)
SB bets $5.21 and is all-in, MP calls $5.21

Results:

$14.25 pot ($0.59 rake)
Final Board: J♦: 9♣: 9♥: 5♣: Q♦:
SB showed 7♣: 7♥: and lost (-$7.10 net)
MP showed A♠: A♣: and won $13.66 ($6.56 net)

I didn't expect SB will do it vs guy with wtsd 30 and he also raised his donk, so most of the time he could have 9 or beat the 9, even his opponent (SB) has pretty narrow flop donk. That is how we loose money - vs incorrect villains :f_biggrin:

Actually, I did exactly the same as SB did vs unknown (at the moment I played a hand it was my first hand and hud have not appeared yet.).
My thoughts was - ok, villain opens 4bb - that is the most of the time value hand with premium pocket or strong broadway. I decided to bluff him on the low boards, that is what I got OTF. I think it was correct play with kind of set. Also, my opponent checked river, so he most of the time do not have TX - bcs he will donk it worring my X behind and I asked my self - how would I play with a set? Does my line look like a set? I guessed it was. But showdown was really suprising to me. Actually, later, when HUD appeared I knew it was mistake to bluff this guy - his wtsd 31 per 3K hands. If he didn't fold that hand, he would never fold his premium, he loves it. So, it was cheap lesson (4,2BB).

Hello, dear reader. So, this week I was partially trying my self at NL10. So, my first thoughts about this limit - it is about the same as NL5, also most of the regs from NL5 are there also at the fat fishy time. (21-00 by MSK time zone) and there are also a lot of fishy players. The main difference is again - stacks. Actually, I'm using starshelper to convert to blinds, but my mind understands that money lost is bigger than usually. I'm trying to abstract from money and play good poker, but sometimes i still making mistakes.

Here is the first one. I just sat at the table, villain marked as regular,to my mind he is cappable to execute something (omfIdiot - that is i'm talking about my self.) So, I decided he tries to exploit me and bluff, but later when HUD appeared I saw his AFF = 1 - what I was thing about? My target is fish, why i decided to begin war of regs. :wtf:
So, I sent my villain the whole stack with just TP.

Today I was punished for slowplay. I guess I deserv it - bcs my villain was wtsd = 34 - so, I must raise the flop or turn. He would never - ever fold hish hand with such WTSD, the guy like him loves his hand, so there is never fold equity. That is how I give him to win.

Punished for slowplay? You would have been all in with the guy anyway... No way Jose that he folds AA on this board...

Yeah, I guess he will never fold his AA on this board. He has blockers for most of the A2s combos, there is only one possible A2s, so he would never put me on it+ JJ is pretty narrow range of XR on any street, he most probably will put me on the draw and will shove and including his wtsd = 34 - he will never-ever find fold, I guess :f_biggrin:

I think it was bad play in the way of missing XR on the flop or turn - bcs he open 4bb in late position (i guess it is pretty stupid steal, so it is value open raise) and "A" on the river kills a lot of action most of the time for his QQ+.

Hand of the day at NL10
Villain 24/4 without F3b. So I decided to 3b for value and the moment I pushed "call button" I wear up my socks (It was little bit windy in the room bcs window was opened). From the viewers side it was looking like slowroll, so when I called my thoughts was "Oh, fk, I'm slowrolling, hope I won't be punished." When the flop came in my thoughts was - wooh, I won't be punished (actually I wasn't slowrolling). Turn made me a little nervous and the river comes. Bingo.

Yep, it hurts a little, but not pretty strong if bankroll allows you to lost from time to time. There is only one thing we can do - continue to do our best without any anger.
