Hi !
Here is a hand I played yesterday. On the flop I wanted to go for a check raise, but the guy before me already raises big so I cannot do my move anymore. So I ended up calling. is shove better?
Turn I hit trips, and I shove. May be not the best because there can be sets inside, but the pot was already rather big and I felt that I had no better options when I was playing the hand.

I would rather check call OTT. Because of the flop action you might be way ahead/way behind and you really don't need much protection here.

First of all the preflop call isn't really standard here (SB is an awful place to call "speculative" hands), but in that kind of multiway and fishy spot I must admit that I do it too.

Flop I don't see the point of x/r, you'll be face up and won't acomplish much, better to x/c imo.

Turn you're basically the king of the world, so why donking ? You aren't fearing any spades anyway so x/r now rather.

PF: I don't think it's a good call since the raise was big and there are other played in the hand. You only are going to play for a Flush here.

Flop: X/Call is the best option

Turn: As mentioned above, there is no need for protection and after the action of the flop you might be behind, so the best option is to check. Between check/call and check/raise, I think x/raise is better since you are probably going to shove on the river, so better to shove right away.

this isnt thta great call bc if you dont get flush you are basically screwed and called big money for bad cards. this hand is 50 50/ flush or no flush

Pre is a bit expensive, but if I hit flush multiway I have good implied odds.

Implied odds are a bit misleading as out of position you won't be able to extract real value out of your hand.

I think we can squeeze this preflop. Calling should not be that bad either, but I would rather squeeze this one. Flop is ok. Donk OTT is nonsense, well maybe not donk itself but do not make it so huge. Much better line would be c/r imo.

These are two kind of contradictory statements.

Preflop is marginal, but the odds may as you may be there. They usually wouldn't be, but your opponents are obviously ready to lose all with TPTK multiway. Perhaps you were aware of that before the hand? I'd otherwise fold this hand myself.

Then on the flop (while still drawing) it would be senseless to shove. You want all players in. Otherwise you'd ruin your implied odds.

On turn it's time to do a little hand reading. I wouldn't be certain that we are ahead. You block flush draws and the flop play indicates that CO likes his hand. A big bet is all wrong. It will be called if and only if you are behind. A drawing hand couldn't call (which is bad since you have the nut flush draw yourself). Fortunately (for your finances), my analysis is totally wrong because they did call.

Hi Yohan
Yes, you are right. That hand I played all the opposite of what I should have done, but it was quite a tricky one for me..
Nope I had no reads on the guys. That is actually contradictory because pre I want them to call and then when I say check raise I want them to fold xD
