Hi, I found something interesting. As you may know starcoins are worth $0.01 each so when you have a thousand you can get back 10 bucks.

A better use (at least at .ES) arises through exploration of the tourney lobby the last days:
There is a tourney beginning 21:45 CET which entrance is 5 starcoins. If you make it to the payments, they award you with (more or less) $0.35 which is 7x the rackeback you get through the vipstore. Even more, If you get to the bubble just 4-5 times in a month you are profiting from this. Also Prize pool is great with $85 for the winner.

TL;DR. If you spend 150 starcoins monthly on the daily VIP bronzestars+ tourney is easy to get profit from it while training MTT skills.

I don't want to spend time on honing my microstake MTT skills so I fold :f_biggrin:

However, I wonder if playing The Deal once every 12 hours (in order to be eligible for a share of the jackpot when it hits) is a more profitable way to spend 14 or 140 StarsCoins a day than buying cash or tickets with them. The advantage of this method would be its fast speed.

I usually mutitable from 21.00 to 2.00 am daily. So i don't mind having a little tournament running. which is going to be push or fold most of the time.

Regarding The Deal, the non-jackpot part of its prizes is worth merely 4 cents per 7 coins, so even if playing The Deal (for more than 7 coins per 12 hours) is slightly more profitable than exchange for cash whenever the jackpot is bigger than $275000, it has such huge variance that exchanging coins for cash or tickets is still the preferable way to get rakeback without variance.

What I meant is you have to make 5 of 30 times in the money to get the same rake back as in the VIPstore

If you play on pokerstars.es. then you can better ask this question on our Spanish community, because the people there are playing on the .es client and here most members are playing on the .com or .eu client and that makes a lot of difference.

Cheers,
