Two pair on river against over bet shove from villian

You do have a strong hand. If I have 100bb I will call. But for deep stack (200bb), you need a much stronger hand like sets. Folding here might looked nitty but I think it is the right play.

When deep I may not call.

I didn't have much information on the btn either. I'm not sure this is ever a bluff. Think his hands are QT and possibly something like 98. More combos of QT as well.

Why have you decided to do a psb OTR? IMO villain has mostly weak hands or nuts..

I don't think you can ever call. He has QT almost always imo. If he's bluffing then you can take note and pick a better spot

PSB on the river was due to the fact a lot of players at these stake seem to call with hands like 9x and Jx and we have extra value​. Looks a bit like a bluff here too, think any reasonable reraise we call the only hands that beat us are really pockets 88 and QT.

Agree that micro stakes players just can't find the fold button. However, I'd rather make psb with stronger hands such as sets and straights with no flush possibilities. I must say that it also depends a lot on the playing style of course. GL at the tables!

Cold call with J8o BBvsBTN is bad. That hand is trash. If you have a read on villain on a good sample (fold to 3bet in the button v high) 3 bet him, but don't expect to do much else because on most flops you'll got reverse implied odds.

Preflop is a call given we are 200 bb deep if we play well postflop. Playing well postflop 200 bb deep means that we possibly do the 9x pot shoving with unexpected nuts (back-doored straights in this case) ourselves, not that we call 9x pot shovings with far-from-nuts. 3-betting preflop becomes more attractive with normal stacks. Here we will simply not get enough folds.
