Facing Check/raise OTR with AQ

I’m not sure if it’s to profitable to 2nd barrel against a tight player like him. I would most likely give up the turn. As played I don’t think a nit would play QT like this, but I would give him credit for a slow played set or something like that.

I think turn is a decent barrel card. Pick up some equity with the gutshot plus it's an overcard so small PPs (55-TT) can fold.

As played I check back river because not many (if any) weaker hands are calling. You're not going to get called by worse and can't really get better hands to fold so not much point in betting again here imo.

Again as played, easy fold vs river x/r.

Thanks for the feedback everyone! I initially put my opponent on a jack/medium sized pair, which is why I decided to bet the turn. As for the river, I definitely agree checking it back is probably the better play in this case

This turn board would be very confused everyone.

I tried to give villain a range. After calling in BB, he can held nearly everything. After calling OTF, that still can be a lot of Hands: TP, Overpair and OESD (65 only) call, midpair and GS should fold but will often call, Sets might slowplay, and some overcards might probably call.

OTT the K is just an overcard. Someone might now have by chance a FD. No draws hit. What calls the turn CBet? Slowplayed sets, 65, FD, TP, Overpair.

If i bet, what better hand will fold? None. What weaker hand will call? AJ, QJ, JT. That's not so much. So IF i bet OTR, i bet small. But i would prefer a cb.

100% agree, i try not to thin value bet versus 16/8 guy. His stats so far are giving away he is tight weak player: they also are capable to check and call to showdown with 2 pair.

I think your double barrel is fine if you know he will often float flops and actually can give up OTT. If he calls OTT, it is very likely he has something better than pocket TT for example. As for what he actually has, that could be a lot of hands. Slowplayed sets definitely possible, AJ hitting 2P OTR as well, if he plays fit or fold, I wouldn't even rule out AK here, as Villain won't give up OTF, picks top pair OTT and 2P OTR. Heck, some very passive players at NL5 will show KK or AA at showdown here. Also, he hasn't 3Bet anything in 115 hands which is extremely suspicious. Even if you are card dead, you 3Bet at least something in over 100 hands. You played the hand decently IMO, checking OTR would be better, as you should be really worried what a player this tight might have and your hand is not exactly spectacular.

On this turn we want often 3barrels (good blockers on top pair, we have a lot of Kings, on every on the river, we block the nut flush, so perfect ! )

Fold on the raise river, not many bluff.
