I have had a little summer break
I plan on starting my grind again next week.. Hopefully I haven't forgotten how to play poker

Didn't play many hands this week.. Next week I try to put at least 3x that many hands

Took a very small shot at NL16 regular and it wasn't bad.
I had difficulties because 1) used to zoom and played regular 2) bet sizes were very confusing (had to use calculator a lot)

What surprised me was the amount of fish. Every table had some clearly recreational players and even the regs were not so good (some were very nitty)

NL16 is the worst, not because of the skill level but because of those annoying bet sizes

I honestly don't think I could play that limit without going insane without starshelper lol

Yea the sizes are indeed awful.. I'm not sure if I get used to those and can figure out, for example, a good 3bet size to villains 2.5bb open at some point or if I have to start using starshelper too

Agree with you. Gave NL16 a shot after reading about how good it was. Wish I still had the BR to grind here. Did you read Is NL16 still the best kept secret of the Micros?

Fixed those hands and thanks for the heads up on that. I should review what I post more often.

Yea I actually read that and I'm watching that LemOn's series atm
I'll have to try NL16 zoom too and check if it is as fishy if not, I'm gonna play some regulars ♦

I'm also thinking about buying starshelper just to get the stacks to big blinds. It is still very annoying to calculate correct sizings

But good thing is that profit-wise this week was very good

This week my shot at NL16 went well:

Running a bit above EV but I believe I deserve it cause I have been running so bad lately

I started using StarsHelper and it is awesome.. I think NL16 regs will be my main game from now on. At some point I will try zoom too.

Lets take a look at some of my goals that I set at the beginning of the year:
By March I will complete my BR challenge not done
By end of Summer I'm aiming to make decent profit on a higher limit than NL10 (dunno if it will be NL16 or 25 or what) I still have time
